We come here for their daily (Tuesday-Sunday)specials EVERYTIME we visit N.Myrtle Beach. $25 for 2 including drinks for even their Sunday 'home-made dinner' specials (served 11am-2:30) just like Grandma used to make! 1 meat and 3 sides plus dessert and drinks! Can't beat it! The squash casserole, green beans and ribs and coconut cake were amazing! Don't be scared off by the line outside..it goes quickly. The service is great, very attentive!

Their Blackened Grouper special was delicious and beat driving over the state line to visit Calabash! Kid's meal was just right and the Cheeseburger had a rich char-broiled flavor. Will repeat 🙂

Go here if you want a home cooked meal feel! Food was great and reasonably priced! There is usually a line to get in there, however the line went quick. Also pay cash if you prefer not to pay the 4% credit card fee.

Ate here twice in one weekend. We were so pleased with the service, the quality of food that we could not get ourselves to go somewhere else. There was a long line outside and we are so happy we listened to the gentleman behind us who told us it was worth the wait. They get you seated fast, take your order fast, bring the food out fast and everything was super hot and just made. No wonder this place has been here so long and it’s so successful. MUST TRY!!!!!!

This place was really good! Nothing fancy but good cooking! We got pie to go but haven’t eaten it yet, it looks Fantastic though . I had the fried flounder with crab cakes & it was really good!! My husband had the fried chicken and it was amazing too! We had our family of 6, all got pie to go and meals & drinks and it was only $130!!
The workers here were so polite and friendly! There was a line outside but it moved quickly.

The shrimp and grits I had were the best I have eaten. Tender shrimp on a bed of creamy grits Cooked to perfection. Minimum wait but weekends seem busier. Even if I needed to wait, it was well worth it.

Been eating st Hoskins since 1973. Great food, value, tradition, great tea, I can't say enough good things about this establishment. Best freshest flounder you will get anywhere. Biscuits, Hush puppies, fried oysters, crab cake, shrimp, scallops, all the sides, all Grade A. Give me anything on the menu I will be happy. Thank you so much for 75 great years and the staff are all wonderful, even the guy that yells in the back.

What a great find!
Staff were friendly and attentive
My wife and I stopped for breakfast. We hear the lines can get long, but were lucky to catch them at the right time and only waited a few minutes
The food was delicious. I ordered an omelet with sausage and gravy on the side. My wife ordered an omelet with grits. All three were very good.
Highly recommend

Don't let the line scare you. It moves fast. Delicious, very reasonable breakfast. Daily lunch specials are great. The whole flounder was delicious and large. 4 of the best meals we had while visiting this week. We've had breakfast and lunch.
