Customer service was excellent. I ordered through grub hub and despite the listed information they deliver orders until close of business. The portions are HUGE, I could only make it through 1/4 at a time. The pho was excellent they don't skimp on the cilantro or veggies and the broth is phenomenal. On top of quantity and quality the prices are very reasonable. The Boba teas are also very well done. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area for training or ops at McClellan.

Management decided to make some changes, really bad changes! Kim Son used to be the place to go for great Mongolian. I drive from Roseville for the awesome food. Decided to start the new year with a little Mongolian and had the WORST experience of my life.(Before this experience I would have given the place 5 stars.) It started when my son and I were told that the meat isn't refilled until it is completely empty, so we had to use the crumbs that were there first. Once he got all the beef that he could except the crumbs, then they took it back to refill. They waited until we had started cooking our food before the new beef was brought out.The pork was taken back to be refilled after that even though it was half full. The celery was so limp and dried out, as was the corn. The broccoli had serious brown spots that I didn't notice until after I ate one. I thought I was going to be sick to my stomach. I couldn't eat any more after that. The egg rolls were cold that came with the soup. The napkins that we were given looked more like cheap paper towels. When we complained about our experience at the end, I was told that we could have gotten more meat. How do you get more after they already cooked your food? Everyone needs to save their money and find a better Mongolian Restaurant than Kim Son.Unless Management fixes their changes, don't waste your time or money. There were 2 new employees that I had never seen before that gave us most of the grief!

The bowls for the buffet were dirty. They never cleared any plates off of our table and the worst thing was that our children were charged adult buffet prices. She asked their ages, but failed to inform us that if they went up to get more noodles they would be considered an adult. (The menu was not clear about this.) $10 for children to eat a cup of noodles is crazy. Will not return!

the restaurant can get very busy in a flash, but that is also a great indicator of their good food, great service and reasonable prices. TIP: If you're extra hungry fill your bowl with meat, veggies and whatever sauces you like, skip the noodles and get bowls of steamed rice instead.

My girlfriend and I came to visit family and decided to try the food here. The food tasted great, prices were very reasonable for the amount of food, and the service was really nice. I recommend this restaraunt to anyone that's in the area and do plan on coming back next time we're in town

Updating - This place is now closed as of 2017 :( *********** I love Mongolian BBQ places and I may just have been to every to every one of them in the Sacramento and surrounding areas. I have been to this location 40+ times so far at the time of this review. Decor is on the newer side - the food is great but the sauces are a bit little weak so load them on. The restaurant was spotless and the service was fast and friendly. The management here is great and friendly - I highly recommended this location. Pricing: Both lunch and dinner are now $8

Was introduced to this Mongolian BBQ restaurant a little over a year ago by my father. It was excellent then and when I recently went back the quality hadn't changed. I highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
