My wife and I ate here on our third night in the area and we wished it had been our first! The Mary's meatloaf was amazing and my wife had the shepherds pie with lamb... We only wish wish we could have tried all the other items on the menu.
Delicious! Came here two nights in a row because it was easy to get in, great ambiance, reasonable prices, and above all, great food.
The decor is eclectic. Kelly green and bright red paint and stuff, tons of stuff everywhere and the lighting is dim. Food was tasty. Tried the app special, big juicy scallops wrapped in good smoky bacon and a contrasting mustard dressing over fresh mesculine greens. Yum! Shepherds pie was traditional and delicious. Caesar salad was very lightly dressed with homemade dressing and i had steak tips that were just ok. very friendly staff. A fun place to go but not if you're a wine drinker.
Great food and great service. My son said the corned beef and cabbage was A+. Shepards pie was delicious. Nice atmosphere and lots to look at. Will go back for sure.
YUM!!. My husband and I make it up to North Conway a few times a year, and we ALWAYS reserve a meal for May Kelly's. The corned beef is so soft, not fatty, and just melts in your mouth. Clam Chowder is perfectly creamy with tons of flavor. I'll be there in just a few weeks and I can't wait!
Lovely bread that's crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Authentic shepherd's pie. The quahags were wonderful, but the highly touted meatloaf was dry. GREAT music, very eclectic mix. Definitely worth a return visit.
Patty Melt. An unusual twist to the traditional patty melt, the addition of Russian Dressing to the Burger, Swiss Cheese and Sautéed Onions on a Toasted Multi Grain Bread with French Fries. A guinness or two to accompany it and how can you go wrong.
Excellent food and atmosphere! Have never had a bad meal. From fish tacos to lamb stew, all meals were fresh and tasty.
Irish eye's are smiling!. No matter where you gaze in this quaintly unique gem, you will feel an old world charm that doesn't get anymore authentic. From the "real" artifacts all over the walls that are reminiscent of times gone by, to the really cool dioramas in the entry way, the picture perfect ladies and gents powder rooms to the views from the deck or the pub window seats.
As for the food, There are no words to describe!! Bangers and mash, Shepherds pie, you name it, it's all great! Their appetizers are always perfect starters, My favorite is the fried spinach. And the deserts Wow! not big in size (which is a good thing) but huge in flavor. Try the rice pudding (coming from someone that doesn't like rice pudding it was fantastic!) And every Thursday two can eat 3 courses from a special menu for only 25 bucks. If your lucky enough to be there on a Sunday, you may catch the impromptu Irish music jam from some of the locals that gather in the pub. And of course they pore their Guinness slow. This isn't a Valley Original, It doesn't need to be, it's Original all on it's own!
What a great surprise on the way
Just pulled over to check the map and saw this place. It looked nice from the outside and decided to give it a chance
One of us had a gluten free restrictions and it had a great choice and solution. Even a dedicated menu
All the food was tasty, fresh, the waitress was super kind and the view,... We sat outside, with a river view and the Ecco lake mountain
If u r in the area, come over
This restaurant is an interesting gem. We were vacationing with friends and stumbled upon this place. Food is amazing and made from scratch! Everything we all had was delicious! The blueberry lemon bread pudding was out of this world for dessert. Our server, Nona, was wonderful! She was so friendly, funny,
and gave great recommendations. The restaurant is kitschy and full of interesting things to look at. It is definitely worth a visit!
The food was absolutely delicious!! The taste of Ireland starter served as a perfect meal to be able to try several items from the menu. The portions were very generous, and the service was amazing. We even ended up with a few free ice creams from the place.
This place blew my mind on Irish food. Never had it before and I am forever changed on it! If you come here get the May’s Potato Pancakes, it was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had with food. 10/10 experience and I will definitely come back again!
Edit: If you do not get the homemade cheesecake you are absolutely missing out, by far the most amazing one I’ve ever had! A bit sweet but the flavor and texture is worth it. Pictured below, we couldn’t help but dive into it before taking a picture!
Homey & quaint come to mind with warm hospitality from servers & a kitchen who seem to work fast. Portions are ample, so keep that in mind unless you're starving!
I enjoyed the Taste of Ireland as my entree since it's a classic triple. ☘️
Split a dessert like the homemade blueberry lemon bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream - yum!😋

Excellent and attentive service! My hubby opted for the Traditional Sheppards Pie with a Guinness, and I picked the Gaelic Pizza! Both were delish! Too full for dessert! All sounded really good!!
Definitely will have to return to try other dishes!
Went here with a party of 4 on a Friday night, we were greeted and seated promptly by a friendly young lady. Our server "Nona" was very friendly and attentive as well as very knowledgeable about the menu, she made several recommendations before we placed our meal. All of the meals looked delicious, I ended up getting the Pastrami sandwich and fries, it was indeed delicious. I don't ordinarily get desert, but after our servers recommendation for the Blueberry Lemon Bread Pudding, I ordered it. It is homemade and super tasty, I highly suggest trying it. The food was so good that we ended up back there 2 days later. I will absolutely be back the next time we're in N Conway.
One of the best Irish Pubs! The trio sampler of Beef Stew, Shepard Pie, and Chicken Pot Pie is a must try. The beef stew and chicken pot pie pots are filled with chunks of meat and veggies, and topped with a biscuit. The Shepard's pie is made with a flavorful mixture of lamb and carrots and topped with oven browned mashed potatoes. This dish is sold as an appetizer but is large and very filling.
The coconut margarita was a tasty & perfect blend of alcohol with toasted coconut around the rim of the glass; and the homemade sangria was delicious. Each drink was topped with fresh edible flowers.
Chose this restaurant as it had the highest reviews for a North Conway restaurant and deservedly so. 3 zones to dine in, the pub, the dining area, and outside. Quite the menu of appetizers, sandwiches and dinners, so it was hard to decide on what to order! Pretty good drink menu as well. Love the cozy interior and ambiance of the place! Very attentive staff, excellent food and a very cool pub atmosphere. This will become a regular dining stop for us when in North Conway !
We got the fish and chips, corned beef sandwich, the taste of Ireland. The food was good but they have a strict no outside food or water policy. They confiscated our plastic water bottles chasing us into the restaurant. Maybe they can make the policy more relaxed. Overall a good place for lunch, very heavy
