Mellow Mushroom North Charleston

Solid 4 on this pizza! They have a wide variety of toppings and the staff are attentive and thoughtful. Great vibe. I've had better crusts, but I've also had worse ones. Drinks are mostly made from mid-shelf liquor (think Tito's) but are balanced well. Ten televisions in the main sitting area, so there's a lot going on visually. I would definitely go here again.

I've been going to Mellow Mushroom for about 10 years now, across several locations in Charleston, and it's one of my favorite pizza places. The North Charleston location is that trendy, chill hipster pizza place where you wanna meet up with your friends for a pie and drinks on a Saturday night, with the added bonus of its convenient location close to the airport, hotels, and the outlets. They always have an interesting selection of beers on tap, their pies are funky takes on classic flavors, AND they also have delicious non-dairy cheese options for those of us that shouldn't have cheese but have that craving for pizza anyway!

The pizza is good. The crust is a great combination of crispy and chewy. The order took over 45 minutes to get. And we got the pretzel bites, which was pizza dough shaped like pretzels. So, not pretzels. Got the shitake pizza. Very good, nice with lots of garlic flavor. Also got the house special. It was good too. The service was just lacking. I've been here twice, one time good and one time not so good.

First time trying this pizza place, and it was amazing. The atmosphere was great and the staff was pleasant. Big screen televisions on every wall and huge dining area. I got the funky q chicken pizza with bacon, and my husband got the mighty meats pizza, and our son got the pepperoni pizza. Our server was excellent and checked on us often. Definitely will return to try the other menu items they have. There are plenty of appetizers and burgers and wings on the menu. A+++

Good food. Great service. Good atmosphere. I ordered the cloud 9 chicken wings and the equivalent to a Supreme pizza called the house special. I had ranch with my wings and also good for dipping the pizza crust. Speaking of crust, the pizza had more crust than I desired. Could have cooked the pizza a couple of more minutes longer. Wings were delicious. I had water. Recommend and will return.
