Cracker Barrel

Not too bad but definitely not the best. My family and I went here for breakfast today. Wait wasn't too long service was mediocre. The ham was dry but the taste wasn't bad. I asked for the eggs to be basted, they came out fried but still had good taste. The hashbrowns didn't really have any flavor. The biscuits and gravy....gross. The biscuits were half way decent but, the gravy literally tasted like moist flour with added ground pepper for seasoning. Some of our food was a little cold and it definitely wasn't hot. We might go back but ill give it some time to try to come back to normal.

I hadn't been in a crackle barrel is almost seven years, so we decided to give it a go. It looks much better than it was. Food was warm-ish and they were way to slammed to even think about sending it back. The chicken was dry, but the sides were hot..... The service was below average, which was another reason we didn't send the food back..... I will be quite fine not going back for another seven years.....

We was seated right away.I got the steak with steak fries, macaroni and cheese and green beans. Steak was tender and cooked just as I ordered. The Mac and cheese was really good but the green beans was so delicious. Reminded me of grandma's on a Sunday afternoon. The waitress was outstanding, never let out drinks get empty. It was a really enjoyable time for everyone. Job Well Done to the staff.

My husband and I had dinner there this past Saturday. We were seated right away, but it took a while for our server to appear. My food came out pretty quick, however someone forgot to prepare my husband's salad. No food for the hubs. Oops! Salad finally arrived with no real reason as to what happened. Salad looked great and my food presented well and was tasty. Then our server abandon us, yet again. We had completed the meal and were awaiting a take home box. Then finally the manager showed up and rescued us. I would say everything was excellent except for our server.

The service was great and the store is wonderful but the food was just okay. It was good but lacked flavor and pretty bland. Out of 11 people in our party, only one person was satisfied with their foods flavor. It doesn't taste bad, just lacks much taste. The experience and atmosphere was great though. Served quickly and food was nice and hot.
