Well... today is the 6th of July... and I am a little bit late in posting this review... OH the Holiday Weekend Meal was FANTASTIC... It's just that the day started off GREAT... and right after the meal... came the news about the mass shootings in Highland IL... I was about 52 Miles away from there... and they were saying that the shooter was on his way somewhere else to do it again... But uh... as I mentioned... The Breakfast was great... The waitress lovely as always... The Pancakes were Light and Fluffy with Vanilla Cream... Strawberry Glaze... and a really nice surprise... Crumbled Short Bread Cookies... You and your kids will love this... The Eggs were Old Fashion Perfect... Hash Browns were Buttery Crispy... Bacon was Crispy and Flavorful... along with Savory, Tasty Sausage... This meal is a Great Way... to Start Your Day.

We were sat and no waiter or waitress came in to take our order for 15 minutes. It took until we stood up and told the hostess. No apology from waitress or anything. The girl in a red shirt that brings out refills of coffee didn’t even look our way. The food came out in a timely manner after we ordered.

Food was good as was the server. The reason for my poor review is how the Manager treated the server. Situation - the server accidentally added a $3 soft drink on our bill. We noticed it after we paid the bill. We told the Manager and she called the server over and told her rudely to give us $3 cash from her tips. The server said she was sorry that she accidentally pushed the button. I asked the Manager if that came out of her tips, she said yes there is no way to pay her back. I said - there’s no way you can get me the $3 other than taking it from her tips? A gift card, anything. She said not possible. So I gave the $3 back to the server and told her that mistakes happen and its not fair she’s penalized. Then I told the manager thats ridiculous and Im writing a poor review and will contact corporate. Its not fair to take money from employees tips for a mistake of an item that we never got. So Dennys would of made money and that poor server would have been out money. So very disappointing !
