The staff was busy and almost rude. The food is good. But just didn’t get a super welcome vibe. I placed a take out order and the lady at front desk almost shouted 30 minutes at me twice even though I said okay the first time. Came back thirty minutes later and was rushed out of the door. Don’t think I will be coming back for another $38 order.

With a name like, "Pirate Sushi", you have no idea what you're in for. But I was pleasantly surprised. The service left a bit to be desired. For example, I needed to ask for a napkin, which I thought was odd that there was no silverware at the table either. However, the waitress seemed genuinely apologetic and rectified the situation immediately. The edamame was an additional charge to the lunch special, but it was a generous portion and perfectly made. I had the 3 roll special that came with meso soul and salad. I passed on the salad since I had ordered the edamame and enjoyed the soup immensely. The rolls were also a very generous serving size. They were well made and did not short on the ingredients. When the rice holds together as you dip, there's clearly been some attention to detail. I've had rolls collapse into the soy and it just turn into a mess. *Special mention for the Boston Roll All-in-all, this was an excellent meal for the price. I'll forgo issues with service, so long as you bring your a-game when it comes to the food. Pirate Sushi definitely delivered on the quality & quantity of food. I'm looking forward to my next opportunity to eat there.

The food is delicious. But they are very understaffed. There are 2 cooks but only 1 woman who is the hostess, server, Uber and Doordash prepper. So it takes a VERY long time to receive your food. Getting a refill on a glass of water is simply impossible. Getting the check is just as impossible you will wait over 20 minutes before deciding to go wait in line with all of the Uber and Doordash drivers just to get to the hostess. Because of this, even if the food is delicious due to being understaffed (which I think is by choice due to no help wanted advertising anywhere) it is not worth returning you will waste your Friday or Saturday just waiting.

Delicious and reasonably priced. Also the staff is quick and friendly! I also like how the are now only letting customers come right in the door but not all the way into the restaurant.

I like Sushi Pirate the food is good! But they have the worst customer service and don't know how to answer a phone. They should invest in some kind of answering service/machine. I ordered from them last Sunday, like i do a lot of Sundays to take advantage of the 30% off discount they offer. Find out when I went to pay is that they don't offer the 30% off anymore because of rising food prices. That is fine and all but they shouldn't say that on their online menu, that they offer it. The lady at the front says they don't offer it anymore, I said i was just on the site and i saw it. Looked this morning and it still states that on the beyondmenu.com site. They need to fix their web site, false advertising.

Overall satisfactory. My first time here - just passing by. Rolls are about the avg size. Soup was ok. Salad was chilled and house dressing was spicy. Rice seemed fresh - not old and crunchy. I ordered the usual staple common rolls. Spicy tuna - eel roll- octopus roll - all ok - maybe slightly - ever so slightly above avg. presentation was nice . Staff seemed friendly. Could be 3.5 stars if it wasn’t for the salmon nigiri. Saddest looking piece of salmon I have ever seen. The chef put a little pieces together to make the nigiri. I told the waiter and he said that’s how it’s sliced . Maybe that’s the style. In all my sushi travels I have never seen a nigiri built like this sad piece . Eating the uni now - is OK. I’m not eating that sad salmon nigiri... Overall - satisfied.

Went here for the first time today and the food was great! The chicken teriyaki was full of flavor as were the rolls.
