You get a lot of food for the price. Service was quick. But the food sucks. Brisket was dry, Turkey was dry, burnt ends were burnt. Ribs were tender but need seasoning. Coleslaw was horrible. The baked beans were good and the sweet sauce was amazing.

My first time here & I Must Say I will be back the ribs were delicious & their cake smacks. In other words it was really good every time I come to akien this is a must stop😊😊

This was our first time here and we will return. The prices were very reasonable, the portion sizes were great, and our food was tasty. We tried the ribs, pork BBQ, and fried chicken. The ribs were impressively tender. My only complaint is that the mac & cheese was cold and bland.

I ordered the large brisket plate with macaroni and cheese and baked beans also added strawberry cake was a little over $20 for one person I guess you can call that average nowadays.

The best BBQ option in the greater Augusta area. Very well made pork and brisket, delicious mustard-based sauces, and fantastic desserts. When the drive thru line gets long they’ll have someone taking orders before you get to the window so it’s always fast.

Good Southern BBQ. The burnt ends just melt in your mouth. These tasty morsels are only available after Thursday and through the weekend. The sides are always on point with the right amount of seasoning and the Mac and Cheese is creamy goodness.

I really liked the BBQ sandwich. Tender and tasty. Their mild red sauce is so good!!! I also ordered the Mac and cheese. Didn't like that much. I'll go back. Delicious!!
