This place is family run and has the best food in town. Each dish whether hot or cold is made with love and you feel like part of the family when you're there. It's amazing and we get it any chance we can.
I purchased the stuffed shells. sooo delicious! it's a small store with homemade Italian items. Friendly service!
Stopped in after seeing on DDD. There is a hot counter and a deli counter as well as shelves with grocery items. Couple coolers with bottled beverages and a Pepsi fountain. There were hot samples to try, lots of things on the menu board and the hot case and daily specials. There was a lot to choos
My boyfriend and I made Rex our literal first stop on our first trip to Chicago. Took an Uber from the airport, luggage and all, because we had to know what the hype was about! Very glad we decided to do so. The family who runs the place is very friendly.

Always delicious Italian food, friendly staff, a warm place to enjoy the cultural atmosphere.
Haven't had any of the food disappoint, but my favorite by far is the cold octopus salad. YUM!
