Reviews of Willows Buffet

Very disapointed, paid $20 per person for the Thanksgiving buffet and will never do that again.  The food selection was too small.  Only Turkey and Ham and a few sides none of what they used to have, half of the steam tables were empty!  Gave it a 1.5 because the staff was very nice.  Will not be back.

Terrible service. We waited in line to get in. Family member went to go look for his player's card that he dropped. They told us he had to go to the back of the line. He left to go look for his card when we there was only one person left ahead of us. My god his establishment has policies drawn up by elementary students. We ended up leaving. Won't be back.

This evening left a lot to be desired. I understand a new company took over on 1 May, so I'm willing to excuse some of what happened as growing pains. <br/><br/>I guess the single biggest problem was not enough floor staff to handle the workload. I waited in line over an hour a half. Whenever I had a opportunity to look inside I saw many empty tables. One table was empty the entire wait. <br/><br/>There used to be buckets on the table to put the shells in as you ate. Someone decided to do away with them and use regular plates instead. All that does I put more pressure on the floor staff constantly having to go back to the tables more frequently. Using plates for the discards only caused a shortage of clean plates at the serving line. Which by the way happened way too frequently. I had to resort to desert plate just to be able to have something to eat. <br/><br/>There seemed to also be a shortage of staff behind the serving line. There never seemed to be enough food on the line, even though there seemed to be less of an overall selection of food items available than in years past. They just couldn't seem to keep up, not from lack to trying but lack of them. There was one plus however, they did seem on top of serving the crab legs. <br/><br/>One complaint I heard by a good number of people and I agree with was how much the salad bar has shrunk in size. <br/><br/>What food I was I was able to eat when I had a plate to eat it off of, was actually pretty good. <br/><br/>The management company that ran the buffet prior to 1 May, maybe the current people should learn a lesson from them, sometimes things don't need to be fixed if they aren't really. <br/><br/>To sum this all up, it was less than satisfactory. I am willing to give them another chance provided some time goes by and some lessons learned.

Seafood Fridays...skip the casino (Neverwin).. Much better than the casino it is in and a better experience.<br/>The options were awesome in variety. Tillapia, cod, haddock pollock, 3 types of salmon. Crab Legs, oysters mussels popcorn shimp and coconut. Roast beef, lobster bisque, peel and eat shrimp. For Oklahoma this is great.<br/>Our time was better spent at the buffet than in the casino, 90 minutes there, then the machines drained us in 15 minutes flat and we left. Not even long enough to buy a drink.<br/>Buffet was fun, casino was not.

Medocre at best. I ate out there on a sunday night on a free mail out coupon for playing slots out there. as it was free the old saying goes you get what you pay for. The only salad selection was some leftover sandwich lettuce and tomatoes. it looked like they had some left overs they tossed the bread away on then merely dumped the meat and lame lettuce in a trough. Really low quality. The fried selections of foods were okay but if i was paying to eat there the 16.99 price would have to be adjusted to 6.99 as that is all it's worth. A poor buffet for a casino the size of riverwind!

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. I was having a good time eating on a Friday night, when a lady came up to me out of nowhere(a hostess??), and told me I had gone over the time. I just payed a ton of money to eat, was waiting on good crab legs that ate up time, and then I was told to leave. I could not believe it. I reported it the next day. I've been robbed. The waitress was horrific, and it's not the first time either. Last time the waitress was hostile, and did not put out a cracker or zipper, when I asked about it, she said we'll find one and wash it. I was like............ that is disgusting. She was nuts. I pay money for a good experience, and I was mortified. Sorry I don't eat like I'm in the olympics? I enjoy my time and take my time and I was told to LEAVE OUT OF NOWHERE? Not only do they raise the price they harass the customers and force them to leave? You gotta be mother f'in kidding me. Criminal robbing people like that. Someone help report this bs.

No wonder I get free coupons all the time for this place, it's quite bad. I went on a Wednesday night (Fiesta Night) and the food, what little there was, was horrible. It was weird, the buffet is capable of holding a mass variety of food, but yet there was only about 25% it in use. It looked like a ghost town where food used to live. If you aren't eating for free because of some casino promotion, don't waste your time.

I do work at the Willows and I'm not going to say the food is always great, we have our bad days, but the food is usually good. We are almost always busy and so if the food has gone down hill I don't understand how people are still lining up at the door and will wait an hour or more on Friday nights for our seafood. If you have a bad experience then just ask to see a manager and get your money back

A Decent Experience. Ate here yesterday around 3pm for a weekday lunch buffet. I had a free coupon that was sent to me in the mail with $10 of freeplay at casino so I figured it was worth going out of my way 10 min to hit the casino and play the $10 and then check out the buffet -- I was prepared for it to be really bad as I was going on a Tuesday afternoon and figured if it was terrible I'd walk out as it was free anyways. BUT it was OK . I frequent the Golden Corral and Furr's buffet as well as Chinese buffets and am used to the idea of avoiding items unless they look fresh. I would say that of all the items there were about 50-60% of them that I would deem worthy of trying. The theme of the buffet on Tuesday is Italian so they had a lasagne and other pasta dishes and they were pretty good but somewhat bland. The salad bar was small but fresh enough to craft a decent salad. I took advantage of items I saw the worker bring out fresh like a bowl of freshly steamed broccolli/cauliflower and carrot mixture --- Also the soups ( chilli and Chicken and dumpling) were crusty but were both replaced with fresh batched while I was there and I ended up enjoying two bowls of the Chicken and dumpling soup. I did try a cut of the Roast Turkey but it was hardly warm and it was dry. They had med/small peel and eat shrimp chilled but I did not try. I did try the "spicy shrimp" that was on the salad bar. It was good -- Had small shrimp in a tomato base with advacado and some pepper that gave it a kick. The desserts were ok.... cheesecake was bland --- Ice cream machine had vanilla and DeLeche flavors -- Various puddings and pies -- nothing great but plenty to choose from to get a nice treat. I will definitely go back if they send me another free coupon. I would not pay the $9.99 lunch price if I was at the casino and hungry though.

Terrible Food. Have been going to the Willow's Buffett for quite sometime. In the last year the quality of food has taken a dive. Catfish tastes like it has been cooked in salt. The prime rib is overcooked and tough.The food is sub-standard and they still have the nerve to charge you an outrageous price. The deserts are pure trash. I don't know WHERE they get their food or WHO is cooking it but their business won't last long at this rate. I am not wasting my money at this dive again.

Seafood Buffet. We used to call this place "Our happy place". Food used to be outstanding. However, the seafood now leaves a lot to be desired. Crab legs over cooked and left soaking in the water too long. The prime rib was way over cooked and dry /tuff. Price has increased and senior discount has been discontinued. Clam chowder was missing, the aus jus for the prime rib was cold and the fat was forming on top. WHAT HAS HAPPENED? Is it under new management? Or new cooks? Whatever it is, it is not worth anything close to the $25 per person that they charge.. It is really a disappointment.

The fried food, chicken, fish, tasted like it was cooked early that morning. Meh.... They just have a LOT of American food like fried chicken, burgers, hotdogs, roast beef, various stewed meats, mashed potatoes, okra, 3-bean salad, dinner rolls, etc...<br/>None of it is particularly good, but the sheer volume of food makes up for that. The dessert bar is large and has many commercial-tasting desserts like cheesecake and cookies.<br/>Price is about what you would expect to pay for an all you can eat buffet.

Good crab legs!. First time at a casino outside of Vegas. The amount of cigarette smoke at the Riverwind is disgusting. It's saving grace was the Willow's Friday night Seafood Buffet. Everything is so delicious! Big salad bar, excellent seafood and so many plates of crab legs! Many, many plates of crab legs! Good times with good friends. Go early! Otherwise, you are waiting in long line in smoky casino. No smoking in the restaurant :)

Great Prime Rib. I stopped in last wed. I was to late for the Seniors breakfast, so I played a few slots for about an hour until the buffet opened for lunch and I was really glad I did !<br/> There were three items on the carving board ham,turkey and prime rib, after the third or fourth slice of prime rib was served it was a perfect med. rare and was delicious, there were great salads and several other meat items but I never made it past the prime rib.<br/> Also dessert bar that Vegas doesn't have a thing on, first class offerings all the way, including the best choc. cake I've ever had, I plan to be there again this wed.
