Sonic Drive-in

READ THIS:You know we do like Sonic. I kept getting emails about signing up on the sonic app. Finally I did. Today my email from Sonic said hot dogs. Buy one/get one free The email said either American dog or chili cheese. Therefore I clicked on order now from the email. I was then on the Sonic Ap. I ordered the exact,, 2 hotdogs, a large coke and then a photo popped up about half price shakes. I ordered a medium. The long and short was that I was charged full price for each hotdog. The other discounts showed on my receipt for half price shake and happy hour coke. I told the car hop. She said she would speak to manager. A bit later a manager wearing braces and rubber bands comes out says hello. I explained to her. Her reply was,, the app is controlled by a third party. She she can’t give me back the $2.19 plus tax for one hotdog. She was lost. I quickly saw she was way over her pay grade to do me any good. Therefore double check any online orders!! No help at the actual Sonic 24th ave Norman Ok. Also read your receipt. Sonic charges full price then shows app discounts on the receipt. 😡😡😡😡

Stopped by here for dinner for the kiddos because I’m not feeling very well. No one ever answered the speaker. Only saw 4 cars in the stalls total not saying they weren’t busy or short handed, however waited another 5 mins and no answer. I even pressed the button a third time and my 5 year old asks me when are they gonna answer because she’s hungry. I said I’m not sure baby would you like to wait, get McDonalds or go to another sonic and she said another sonic. So we left for the one on Lindsey. Sad this location was unable to receive our business and that my children had to wait over 15 mins or so for “fast” food they never got to order.
