I have gone to full moon before it even was full moon. It is my favorite sushi place I have ever been to and I have been to multiple. Always fresh. Always friendly.
I think this place has the best Sushi in Oklahoma. It's not easy to find good sushi fish (fresh, tender but not mushy, colorful but not dyed) AND good sushi rice (sticky but not mushy, right amount of vinegar) in the midwest. I've tried about every place between here and Edmond and Full Moon is by far the best. So unless you're visiting Tokyo (and yes I have been to Tskigi) sometime soon, stop here for a good sushi fix! My favorite rolls are the Full Moon and Blazing Saddles. They're wonderfully flavorful and creative!

Whenever I want sushi, this is the first place I think of. Competitively priced, fun, artsy atmosphere, and plenty of options to choose from. The staff is super friendly and never pushy or invasive, which I love.

Great first-time sushi. Since I can imagine someone going to any run-of-the-mill Asian buffet here in Norman, trying their sushi as a first-time sushi experience, and being scared off Sushi for the rest of their life. Full Moon is absolutely what I'd recommend for first-timers.
The waitresses actually seem to know the menu, for one thing. In fact, I've gone here with one friend several times and a waitress helped us create a roll the first time based on what would taste good together. She may have been flying by the seat of her pants, but the next time we came there, she remembered it. Excellent, excellent service.
The menu is creative and full of flavors. Don't be afraid of the spicy rolls and edamame. Even some Irishman who's survived on a steady diet of hot dogs, ketchup and mac n' cheese can eat them, love them and live to tell the tale.
To the dismay of my friend, they don't serve strawberry soda. But the bartender was glad to spin a Shirley Temple in her favor, whereas in other restaurants the response is "Too bad, so sad."
Finally, the atmosphere of the restaurant is a cool, dim place you can breathe in and have some privacy with friends while still being seen by the staff.
This restaurant is a project well-executed.

Oh man this place has some crazy good rolls! I would recommend calling ahead at lunch though. It took about 30 minutes to get my food when I was the only table in the place! It seemed the chef was to busy talking to my server...

Incredible. Fluffy rice, crunchy veggies, smooth avocado/cream, fresh meat. Didn’t even touch the soy sauce because I didn’t want to ruin the sushi. Ceviche was among the best I’ve ever had. I’m very impressed especially for the prices.

Great rice, fresh fish, excellent service. What more could you ask for?? Favorite sushi in the okc area. Literally. Don't skimp on the black cherry sauce.
Very best place ever for sushi. Fresh and interesting new takes on sushi that I have not encountered before and I eat a TON of sushi nationwide. Fish was super tasty and very clearly extremely fresh. Service was incredibly fast, fair priced, and staff was amazing. 10/10 will definitely go again next time I'm in the area.
We love The Moon Sushi in the heart of Norman! It's a gem! Relaxing and unique decor. Fantastic service and some of the best sushi on Oklahoma.
