Danny's Hot Dog

Service was curbside, hotdogs were good, service was good. Why I am giving this place a 2 star rating is because they’re over-priced. 2 basic hot hogs with chili, mustard, onions and chess’s and 1 coke came up to $12.85 (that included a $2.00 tip to waitress). There is NO REASON why 2 hotdogs and a can of coke should cost that much. I paid because I was hungry, but I will NOT be coming back due to the huge cost.

Not too thrilled with this place. Usually hot dogs are easy. And not too expensive. These were some mediocre hot dogs, the chili was paste. And didn't taste great, But the fries were great. You still can't sit down inside, Why leave work to sit on a cramped vehicle and eat??? VA masking rules eased .. But too many places are not opening. The price was high , at least u thought so. I paid 12 dollars for two dogs, fries, and a can of coke

Have been going here for over 50 years. Has been steadily declining recently. They took out the indoor seating so you have to eat in your car right in front of the nasty grease bin. Staff not friendly like they used to be . Prices are a little high. Guess I won't go back. It's the end of an era.

Danny's is a small drive-in diner. They serve more than just hot dogs. There's breakfast, wraps, burgers, subs, club sandwiches, etc. You pull up outside and honk your horn, and the server comes out and takes your order. You can dine-in as well, however the seating is VERY limited. There was a total of 3 tables that were available with 2, 3, and 4 seats per table. There are two more tables inside, but they were occupied by the restaurant for storage. I had the 1/2 lb chili dog foot long sub. It was excellent. The chili tastes home made, the dogs were also really good on their own. Served with a side of crinkle cut fries. Pretty standard drive-in diner type food. My buddy got the cheese burger sub and thought highly of it. The brownies and cookies are fresh baked and great tasting too.
