Salmich's

The sandwiches are great. Stuffed to the brim, piping hot and full of flavor. I got the sausage and meat and I didn't put it down once after I picked it up. My only small nitpick is that the integrity of the bread was pretty much shot by the time I finished the sandwich but with all that sauce I'm not really sure how they would have avoided that. The poutine fries I got were also excellent, I thought I would easily be able to finish both at the table, I just barely did, they are large portions. Easily enough to take home for a second meal if you don't feel like stuffing yourself. I guess I just got carried away. If you are feeling subs in a nice buffalo bills forward atmosphere then stop by because it is great

Man I really wanted to give this place five star but I cannot. I ordered an Italian roast beef and onion rings. The roast beef had to be the Greasiest thing I have eaten in a long time and onion rings were the same. After I left I felt like I just had grease all over my face. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing or I just came at the wrong time. I might give this place a second shot. It was pretty clean which makes me happy but the food wasn’t that great at all.

First time here and it was the best Beef on Weck sandwich ever! I loved the horseradish sauce inside, it gave the sandwich a nice kick. Meat was tender, juicy and full of flavor. The poutine fries were tasty, wasn't what I was expecting and I am sad to say I could barely eat half my plate; at least I will have a delicious meal later.

Less than 25 hours ago, my husband and I agreed to try some food from the Salmich's Burgers & Hoagies place in Norfolk Virginia. My husband selected the roast beef sub which comes with roast beef lettuce tomato onion and mayo with cheddar cheese. I chose to have The Rusty sandwich that contained ham turkey roast beef pepperjack cheese lettuce tomato onion oil and vinegar. I chose to order and pick up the sandwiches and I received them in a timely manner. Both my husband and I liked our sandwiches and I even have some of the leftover Rusty sandwich to finish snacking on sometime today (the sandwiches my husband and I selected were bigger than expected in a positive way).

The fries are fresh cut and fried. So freaking good. And they also give you so much of them. Two people can easily share a large order. I got the Westsider burger last time I went and it was one of the most unique and intense burgers that I have ever had. I have also had the PBJ burger which was the first time I had peanut butter on a burger and I really enjoyed it. They put a really nice tasting Peanut butter on it that works so well with the rest of the burger.
