Waffle House

Don't ignore exit 99 on 1-85! Get off and get a taste of Juan Carlos' sexy t-bone steak. You will feel right at home with this night shift supervisor and super star chef. I honestly felt like family. The steak was delicious and I didn't have to add any steak sauce. It was a perfect steak. This is store #177 on Jimmy Carter Blvd in Georgia.

Came in with the family after a road trip, they go to WH all the time in their hometown and have positive experiences. As soon as we came in they told us it was to go only, despite there being no customers besides us. During the service the servers were all on their phones and even were quite disrespectful (one particularly). One servers mother even came into the building and they chatted for several minutes while our food was cooking. Overall an uncomfortable experience. The cook was nice and the food was good. However when we got to the car, we discovered they had given us no syrup for our waffles, had given us an extra waffle, and put cheese on our order when we specifically said to remove the cheese during ordering. I don’t know if the sandwich was good because it was smothered in the unwanted gross processed cheese. We have devised a theory based on other google reviews saying they experienced to go orders only despite there being no rush and no need seemingly. WH charges an included 10% server fee to all to go orders not done through the app. This encourages these servers particularly to take advantage and not seat people, deal with their tables, mess up the order, not have a friendly customer attitude, and still get a tip. :(

This was the second waffle house in the same night to decline service, only to offer me a to go order instead. The staff was "chillin" in their car and lounging around. The only reason I gave it the 3rd star as opposed to the other is because the original lady to take my order attempted to treat us properly. Still though, it seems the system was still broken.

This waffle house always has limits either seats have signs saying cant sit here or like tonight they were only doing to go orders ? It's like they dont want to make money! What's with all the limits either ur a restaurant or ur not but I dont like wanting waffle house to be turned away it's really getting old and makes me want to avoid waffle house

I have to a fair amount of Waffle House, some good some not so good, however my experience at this WH was very positive. My server was friendly and nice. But what caught my attention was how everyone ínteract with one another, with respect, pride in their job and more importantly team work. Keep up the good work.
