The Rage

This is a hidden from foodie gurus. If Gordon Ramsay came here, he would..... Ask why the menu is sloppy, why isn't place packed, why no body in South Bend knows about this place, no entertainment. It's so big & beautiful but with all fresh food & top notch taste, the place should be packed. Wed - Saturday. Fall - football bar on Sundays. Thur comedian night. People could be addicted to coming such fresh food. Gluten free- cool but that's not the hot. Bad marketing, & owners should think out of the box or re watch some Gordon Ramsay shows, because this would be a reastrunt I would drive 30 mins to any day. It needs a rethink on stagedy. Utilize space & SB / Granger people are missing out this Niles Michigan taste. Fries need more taste. 5 fresh dishes on menu. All the doordashes should be waiting in line also.

I only eat gluten free so when I was looking for a restaurant when I was visiting South Bend, I stumbled across The Rage, only 25 minutes away from Notre Dame. The restaurant environment is beautiful and the food and service were both top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant whether you care about gluten-free or not.

We've eaten here a few times and have enjoyed the food. The first time we went, we loved everything! The food, service, and overall atmosphere was incredible. This past time we went the service was a little lacking. I think the waitress was trying to come off as snarky and edgy, but really just came off as rude sometimes. But I chalk that up to a personal choice of the waitress. We will be back next time we are in the area and look forward to trying more of the tasty menu!

We want to send a big thank you to Steve Smith from “The Rage.” The Celebration of Life we had on 7/23/23 for Gary Skinner was a real blessing for our family at The Rage. The venue was appropriately set up. The inside space brought people out from the heat. The outside space was great for those who needed to smoke and who wanted some elbow room to eat. The upstairs space served those who needed some space, especially for the younger members of our friends and family who were overcome with grief and needed some private space to share with their friends. Everything we asked for was met with a smile and a remedy. Jyn served us well. She is a gift to your restaurant and the Niles community. We didn’t get the name of the other gentleman that was serving along with her, but he too helped in any way he could. Without your assistance this event wouldn’t have been possible in the way that his friends and family knew him. Your gift of grace and generosity is beyond compare.
