Great salsa. Love the new owners and staff. This place does not disappoint.
Great local, hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant! Service was prompt and accurate. The food lived up to the hype my friends gave it. Good to also see local celebrities eating there! We WILL be back, and I'm eager to try something different on the menu.

Love the salsa bar! When I wanted a quesadilla but couldn't have the wheat tortilla, they were happy to swap it with three small corn tortillas, and I still got full. Don't forget to check out the small, new street tacos selections they have (see the little sign on the tables). They let me do a mix and match, so I could try a couple different things. You may not have a consistent experience, depending on who is in the kitchen and the front. One time was great; the next day, they had on country music, and the cook was a stand-in who didn't understand the tortilla swap out (so tried to stuff everything on one tiny corn street taco). The waitress made it right in the end though.
Staff is friendly and the food is great quality at a reasonable price. The Steak Tampiqueño is one of my favorites, and idk what they do with their rice but it's the best I've ever had. I would probably give 5 stars except that I order food to go a lot and the orders are wrong pretty frequently. Still totally worth a visit for some delicious Mexican flavors though!

They have a salsa bar!!! (About 8 different types) The avocado salsa was my favorite. The food was good, the staff friendly and the restaurant was clean. We will definitely be back (especially for the delicious salsas).
