The Front Porch is one of my all time favorite breakfast places. The food is tasty and the portions are huge.
My favorite is the Greek omelette with a side of corn beef hash. My friends live the chicken salad and the taco salad.
It is small and popular so at times there is a wait. The place is casual.
My husband and I stopped for breakfast after having some lab work done. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our coffee came quick and one of the girls was refilling faster than we could sip it! My husband ordered the eggs benedict and I ordered a veggie omelet with home fries. Both were huge portions and cooked to perfection. So glad we found this little gem on the bay. Now to try lunch or dinner!
We visited the Front Porch for breakfast and I must say it was superb.
My wife and I each had an omelette and coffee both of which we enjoyed. The omelettes were huge and stuffed fill of fresh goodness. They were very filling, seasoned perfectly and wholesome. The owner’s wife does the cooking and she is a true chef. Just great food. The coffee tasted like fresh ground and really hit the spot.
We look forward to returning.
Good food, great service and pleasant atmosphere, a nice stop on Bayshore Drive. The paintings on the wall are beautifully done, and for sale. My favorites are the pictures of the fish, having a party on the beach. They capture the essence of the general feeling, one gets from visiting this area. Large portions of food, I had the portuguese chili and my woman enjoyed a lofty club sandwich. We will be back.
Great food and great view of the bay. Never had an avocado omelet but I gotta say this was deliciously put together. 5 stars for welcoming atmosphere and great food. Definitely bringing the family again.
This was a great little place to stop and have breakfast! I actually went to the location for another restaurant next to it was closed and decided to give this a shot. I am certainly glad I did and I will be back over and over and over! I highly recommend that if you are in or near Niceville Florida and want a place to just chill out eat and relax for a few minutes got a great feel and you can actually Overlook the water a little. Thanks to the owner and all the staff that were so great there this morning.
What the Front Porch has to offer is a simple yet interesting menu with dishes that are expertly executed. I had the crab cakes Benedict and it was excellent. Healthy portion of crab cakes with more crab than binder however the flavor of the crab did not overtake the disk. Same for the hollandaise sauce. An excellent balanced dish. And biscuits with sausage gravy the had actual sausage in it!!!! 10/10 will be going again.
Instead of driving to Destin for IHOP or Cracker Barrel, we decided to give this place a try and were very pleased. The service was great and food prices were reasonable. I thought the food portions were huge. My wife got the Irish Omlette with corn beef. I got the breakfast wrap with eggs, chilli, and rice. My daughter's loved the French Toast and Pancakes. We will definitely be back.

Excellent neighborhood breakfast place! Small, quaint cafe. Very casual. Friendly. Great good at reasonable prices. Family friendly.
My waitress was so nice and attentive. The breakfast was delicious with more than enough on each serving. I loved it.
So cute, on the water for a great view, incredibly friendly staff, and the food was plentiful AND delicious!
