Tim Hortons

I’ve heard so many good things so I figured to give it a try. The service was friendly and quick but the donuts were just not good. We tried 3 different ones, Boston cream, peanut crunch and some honey donut. I was going to try their coffee and blueberry muffin but decided to just go to Starbucks after my initial donut experience. Just cannot recommend this place or these donuts. Maybe another location is better but not sure I want to risk it.

So I ordered a small 10 pack of honey dipped timbits along with a med caramel iced Frappuccino. Upon entering, I noticed a horse fly around the menu board where an employee was preparing food. I thought the doughnuts behind the glass would be safe to eat. Um no. I tasted a tidbit and to my chagrin realized they were probably baked in 1980. The taste was awful! I looked down to observe the the other 9 in the box and saw mold on one of the timbits. I took it back to the counter and requested money back. The cashier saw the moldy tidbit and showed the manager who then tried to question me on where is the moldy timbit. Excuse me? She just showed you the moldy doughnut. Don't play crazy! Just give me my money back. He really tried to get me to replace it with some other awful food item. Um, I think not. My money is what I want. Took too long to get back $2.30. I will never be back. Being from Texas, I expected bad service and nasty attitudes from New Yorkers. I guess I got what I was looking for.

So my wife and I went to Tim Horton's after the Ron White comedy show. We ordered 2 iced Cappucinos made with milk-one Mocha flavor and one to be Caramel flavor. Also one chocolate chip muffin, and one Fruit Explosion muffin. The girl behind the counter came back with 4 drinks, and two of them not made with milk, the other Two with milk were not flavored. And she also gave us 1 chocolate chip muffin. The bill was for 4 drinks and 1 muffin. So basically everything was wrong except the 1 muffin, but the fruit explosion one was missing. We ended up settling to take Two of the incorrect drinks and had her add the missing muffin. I know workers are hard to find, but wow this was a complete debacle and a half! Better luck next time!!
