I had a wonderful evening at Applebees in Newtown. I used to come here with my daughter before she tragically died in an orangutan related incident. Not to get too political but the pretzels were a bit phallic. Great time though!

Extremely satisfied with our recend lunch visit. What a cheerful hostess! Our server Mallory R, was fantastic. She is a lovely lady and knows how to make customers feel great. The meal and Long Island Iced Tea were top drawer. Great presentation on our Southwest Chicken Bowl....delicious. We love this store!!

My girlfriend and I love the food, however I do have one suggestion.. The lighting in the bar area is way too bright! Maybe use lower wattage bulbs or lamp shades? If you want more patrons in the bar area the lighting has to be dimmed. Nobody wants to go sit at a bar that is so illuminated!

Ralf was super friendly and understanding. When we asked to switch tables because the nearby group was getting a bit loud, (we really didn't want to deal with it after a long day) he took care of it in a professional manner without making a big scene.
The food was really good, and Ralf's service made the whole evening better. Thanks to him and the Applebee's team for a great time. We'll definitely be back! 🌟🍔🥂
