Cafe Con Leche

This place is an excellent choice for a party with vegans and non-vegans. One in my party had the tuna panini and said it was excellent. Another had the vegan burrito and loved it. The other two of us had dishes with seitan and, having eaten more than my fair share of seitan over the last 30 years, this in-house made was among the best I've ever had. My only disappointment was that they were out of the vegan hummingbird cake. I guess I'll just have to go back so I can try that!

Had some time to accompany my husband in the office and I was in the mood for something different so we we headed to Cafe con Leche for lunch. It’s pick-up or delivery only (for now) and I’m so glad we decided to do a pick-up as it allowed us to see what other menu items are available. I wanted a bit of everything! But I had the vegan stir fry with tofu, which was so fresh and delicious! And my husband had a chicken sandwhich with mozzarella and red peppers and he said the portion was just right. We have our new favorite place and I can’t wait to try their other menu items. Our meals would’ve been even better if they had some raw juices too!

This is the 5th time I have eaten at this restaurant. The first good thing is that it’s BYOB. It has been outstanding every time no matter what we order. This time we ordered the Energy Soup and Sweet Potato Jalapeno Soup. I don’t usually eat healthy nor do I eat sweet potatoes but both of these soups were very good. My wife got the Cheikan Marsala and said it was very fresh and very good. I got the Penne Daniel. It was also very tasty. I read another previous review and the reviewer said they used canned vegetables. That’s so wrong. Everything is very fresh and not canned. The whole time we there this time we heard the chef in kitchen chopping vegetables. We will definitely continue to come back.

Great food! Excellent organic and maybe vegan (I believe, don't hold me to that) options. Really enjoy this place. Friendly wait staff. The price is where it should be for an organic restaurant in this area. Usually plenty of parking in the parking lot. Great location surrounded by other popular commerce. Bathroom on the third floor kinda annoying and not a ton of space in the restaurant but it's quaint!
