China Wok

We lived in Newtown Square for a long time . China Wok was the best Chinese food around. The owners are very friendly as well. We moved to Valley Forge over 4 years ago and still drive to Newtown Square to go to China Wok for food. If you are sick with a flu, respiratory infection , sinus infection, fever, or even covid the best you can do to feel better is get their hot and sour soup extra hot ( spicy). My family swears by it!!! Works ever time!!!

I ordered my food and waited while it was made. The entire time that I was there, the middle aged man was SCREAMING at a woman while they cooked. I don't speak their language, but he was clearly extremely angry, and the woman looked very scared of him and was being quiet with head bowed down. Girl, whatever he was angry about, you DO NOT DESERVE TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT! It doesn't matter if you are an employee or his wife, even if you actually did something wrong, you deserve to be treated respectfully!! Please, get some help. That is abuse. I will be taking my business elsewhere after that.

We have tried ordering from this place but we cannot get anyone who speaks English. Our orders are constantly messed up and the sad part is that they are unwilling to fix it. We will go pay an extra $10 to have New Leaf down the road in Broomall. The food we’ve ordered has been so-so. Nothing great from China Wok. Honestly, more attitude and hate towards customers than anything. So over this place!

I went to China wok and placed an order. The service was slow and when I got home the order was wrong. I called back and and was told I was wrong. I tried to explain that I had ordered Lo Mein and received shrimp and vegetables but was told agin that is what was ordered. Because of the slow service and refusal to acknowledge their mistake I would not recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely horrible business ! I had ordered food and told them of an allergy and they said they would take care of it. Got home and there was bamboo and mushrooms still in my food. Called to let them know and they said o you never told us and expected me to pay for new one. People with allergies please be careful!
