Cooks is delicious! I love eating there. My sweetie banned us as couple because we could not share tea. Don't worry we will be back.

The food is always great and gets to us in a timely manner. You better go early if you plan to eat in because the restaurant fills up fast. The cashier/waitress is always really sweet and you can tell she cares about what shes doing. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Newton

My husband and I had the hamburger steak,my son had the bacon cheeseburger, and my daughter has fried shrimp plate. Dessert was banana pudding and strawberry cheesecake. These kids are hard to please but my son asked to go back the next night. Everything was great ,including the staff.

Driving through from Texas, wanted to stop by and get some good Mississippi food. We were not disappointed. Great customer service, fast and efficient and Jackie was very friendly. We got the shrimp sandwhich, oyster sandwhich and fried okra and it was very delicious.

The ribs were so good, along with the catfish, and the banana pudding!
The potato salad was to die for, and it was down home cooking at it's finest.
Was driving through on our way to gulf shores Alabama and we are happy we stopped!

Dallas couple headed to Huntsville. We love family-owned dives in small towns, and this one did not disappoint. Great pulled pork sandwich, baked beans and potato salad. The special rib plate that passed us looked fabulous - and for only $7.99! Really? We pay about $17 for that in Texas! Loved the wall shrines supporting Mississippi and Alabama colleges. Most impressed that the couple that appeared to be the owners Roll with the Tide!
