Great atmosphere in a fantastic location. The food was absolutely delicious and our server was amazing. I have to eat gluten free and I was so pleasantly surprised on the size of their gluten free menu. Looking forward to another visit their soon this summer!
I have driven from Westchester County NY to this restaurant for lunch because of the corn and crab chowder. I sit, doped up on benedryl and steroids, with an epi-pen in my purse so that once a year I can have this soup. It is worth risking your life over, it is that good. The chicken on a biscuit and pulled pork sandwiches are also tasty. This is a must-go spot in all of New England.
Lots of outdoor seating which is great. There is also a large bar area. Rustic decor, comfortable setting. The various BBQ meats were okay, not particularly special, sausages and the ribs were both kind of dry. The briskets were better, not fatty enough. The rest items were just a bit above average.
The nachos were really good! Came with a lot of chopped onion and tomato and tasty pork. It’s a humongous portion - a sight to behold when it comes out. They have a nice beer selection as well. I didn’t have any ribs but they looked seriously good.
We were roaming around and were unable to get seating anywhere before we stumbled upon the smoke house. They were able to seat us right away which was awesome considering most places were doing reservation only. The chicken sandwich was excellent. Only downfall was our table was in the parking lot, but didn’t even matter because we were just happy to be able to get some good food and drinks. Would recommend!
Great food with amazing flavor. Food was delivered quickly. Most of the tables are outside so take a look at the weather. Definitely plan on going back.
