Stopped into Stoneacre for dinner, first off the restaurant is beautiful, & second I had the best service I’ve ever experienced in Newport. The restaurant was busy, lively, which I personally found refreshing, we started with the fresh baked bread that was exceptional & ordered a nice bottle of wine with help from our server who completely understood the list. During our 3 courses, between them were offered a surprise tasting (nice touch) & at the end after our dessert (blood orange over custard bliss creation) were offered two dark chocolate vegan avocado truffles - they were amazing & I’m not even vegan, anyone that can make something health THAT good gets a gold star � Last but definitely not least, I ordered a cappuccino & not only was I greeted with a smile (its almost impossible to get a cappuccino after 7pm in this town) I was served a lovely presented & prepared cappuccino. If you like a fresh open atmosphere, great ambience, exceptional food & service this place is for you
Fantastic date night dinner. I chose from the Newport Restaurant Week menu and my husband chose from the regular menu and we were both very pleased. The “amuse-bouche” to start and end the meal were an added plus. Their menu is short on items but long on quality and creativity and deliciousness. Their wine and drinks menu is longer and equally creative. You will not be disappointed. Next time, I will go for the 4 savory and 1 sweet course Chef’s Choice menu. 5 courses of exceptional creativity for $58? I’m in. We will be back.

This place was outstanding. The food was great, the service was impressive, and the drinks were superb. My friend and I enjoyed our time here and the staff gave us a few tastings throughout the meal which was so kind and delicious! I would definitely recommend this place. PS: the specials are super tasty and affordable!!!
Nice and quiet. I was here in January; assuming that it should be busy during the season.
I have eaten here two times. The room is by far the finest in Newport. The food is very good. I recommend the catch of the day. They grill the fish and place it on top of veggies with broth. The service is also very good. I lost count of how many times the staff checked on our table. Room, food and service were all very good.
On the expensive side but worth it. Service was a 9 out of 10. Food was an 8. We had a party of 6 but I couldn't tell it may as well been party of 1. Server was fast and attentive. I recommend the croque-monsieur.
This place is great! I came here one afternoon and sat at a table outside. The food was delicious and the staff were really nice.
