This was a great ice cream location in Newport Beach! We were recommended to come here from a store owner down the street. It was busy too so they weren’t wrong! The workers were nice and I got a coffee ice cream shake: simple ice cream and milk that tasted great! I hope to come back soon!
Visited today 08/023 at around 2:20pm. The young lady that was working was all by herself handling a busy crowd! She did great. Especially with our peanut allergy order. We appreciated her help! Ice cream is delicious!
Cowafornia ice cream in Newport Beach, Balboa island and close to the Newport ferry is a nice place to eat ice cream in, they have so many flavors and banana dipped in chocolate and ice cream, you can choose from so many flavors and toppings like marshmallows and confetti chocolate sprinkles, fruits and nuts, prices are very good compared to other places, portions are good too, the place is very modern and as soon as we got into the shop the coffee smelled so good and freshly brewed, the cow statue is huge and fun to take pictures at, we tried the chocolate flavor and the cotton candy and it tasted good, a recommended place to eat ice cream before taking the ferry to balboa island
Nice place in a good spot close to the water and the pier.
The Hand Dipped Balboa bars are one of the specialties.
I’ve tried the affogato Sunday 😋it was so good.They decorate it with a cow shape chocolate 🐮

The coconut pineapple ice cream on a waffle cone was great. Only wish it had some coconut chunks in it with the pineapple chunks. Staff friendly.
Right behind the arcade in the Balboa Fun Zone you’ll find a great ice cream shop. The prices were reasonable considering where we were. The ice cream was amazing and the service was great.

The ice cream here is really good. One scoop is a really big scoop so you get your money's worth. Right next to the arcade and ferris wheel so you get a good view while enjoying your ice cream. The service is great and fast. There was only one person working there when I went but it went pretty quickly. The only downside is parking in the area. There is very little and the lots get full quickly especially on a weekend.
