Great dining experience all around. Excellent food and friendly and attentive service.
I almost didn't go in as a first glance at the menu, the prices seemed high. However, I went in anyhow and the food was absolutely fresh and delicious. If you pick and choose, there are plenty of cheap options for the low budget diner. The portions are generous and the food was really good.
I have had Greek food in San Francisco and it was good, but the food at Akropolis had its own distinct flavor. Old favorites with a new twist. I really liked it. Give them a try.
Amazing gyros and the Greek pizza with the gyro meat was absolutely amazing! The waitress was extremely friendly and made the experience at newport beach well worth it!!! Have to come here. Amazing pineapple ale as well. Just come. Please.

Dropped in at Pizzabar tonight with a friend after watching the sunset over the beach - wow! It wasn't crowded, so we had the place (and Amber, the awesome bartender) mostly to ourselves, which was lovely after driving all day. I took Amber's suggestion to try to their lobster macaroni and cheese (sauce made from scratch daily) and was not disappointed. This stuff is HEAVEN. It isn't the most colorful dish but OH MY GOODNESS IS IT DIVINE. I could not finish the huge bowl and brought the rest of it back to my hotel room (which thankfully has a refrigerator or I would be buying a cooler... Totally worth it). I will be eating this stuff all week. Go check this place out and get the lobster macaroni and cheese and if Amber is there, say hi!
I eat here at least once a month. Their pizza is really good, I especially like how they add bacon to the Hawaiian. They have a quality beers on tap, and the servers are always super cool.
Gyros n steak fries on the peninsula. Greek food and pizza... I recommend biking in if parking is full. Service is very nice, professional and yet relaxed. I've been a half dozen times at peak or slow periods and my food always comes up promptly. Consistent quality too, nod to the back of the house. I like the atmosphere and the craft beer selection is pretty good too. Mahalo guys ;o)
Great food and service! We all ordered gyros and fries and they were delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful as well, I would definitely recommend this place!
Fantastic service, great food and awesome drink specials on Sunday. Loved the wings and at half price to boot.

Very nice staff! Food was great! Guacamole was not to spicy. Neither the ceviche was spicy, just tasty!
