I have been going here since it was Zubies on 17th St. so over 30 years. Every time we go the food is fantastic. The service is excellent. The menu is pretty big and not one thing is not excellent. The portions are huge. This is our families favorite place to go to celebrate. Cash only but ATM is in the bar area.
I had Chicken Fried Steak it's my first time. Very good crispy delicious with salad. I love a homey meal with a local feel to the establishment. Waiters were very polite. I will be back!

Chicken Coop has great food and the owners and staff are all wonderful. It is a family business and a local hangout. I highly recommend them!! There is something for everyone there: seafood, Mexican, steak, and of course, chicken. Breakfasts & lunches are great, too. The prices are reasonable and there is a full bar. It is a casual, warm atmosphere & they take cash. There is an ATM.

This is NOT a chicken restaurant. It is an amazing chicken-themed restaurant. The drinks are amazing and the food is amazing. The outside looks a bit worn down, but that adds to the charm. You can't beat the old-school style, portions, price, and decor. I recommend the fried whole clams, the cocktails (not on the menu), prime rib, and the steaks. Just amazing. One important thing to note: they only accept cash.
The prices are reasonable and the food is great delicious. Service is great and the owners are very pleasant to talk to. Cash only.
Cash only, very good ceviche platter, old fashioned vibe, customers seemed to know one another! Breakfast seems a specialty. I also ordered Philly cheese steak sandwich and it had real hunks of steak, not the thinly sliced pieces, good- depends on your preference. I am headed back for the Oyster bar!
Classic anybody bar! Lots of regulars in the bar. Fish tacos are my favorite right now. More menu items left to try. Chicken tortilla soup bomb. Salad with blue cheese dressing. PIZZA PIZZA!

BEST broasted chicken ever!
And of course, I had the chicken tortilla soup again! I actually took a friend of mine with me and it was his first time there. He said it was the best soup he's ever had.
He was also blown away at the amount of food you get for the price you pay. It's a very affordable place that has top notch quality food.
The service is always excellent.
If you've never been, be sure to go. This hidden little gem is such an excellent place to go for quality food and dining. Enjoy! 😋
