Amazing food, great atmosphere and an awesome spot to watch the games. 10/10 would recommend �
My first time at Tupelo Junction Cafe was about 2 weeks ago with a friend who highly recommended I experience the quaint ambiance and the delicious little cheese breads and bacon scones that they serve before your meal. Very friendly service, met the wonderful and extremely nice owner and the food was delicious. We went for dinner ~ tomato soup was very good and creamy with a cheese sandwich made with really fresh bread. I also had a delicious salad + the cinnamon apple beignets with caramel sauce for dessert. I'm looking forward to experiencing breakfast real soon. Come experience this gem near the sea in Newport Beach near Lido Isle.
We stopped by this restaurant for dinner one night during our trip to Newport Beach. This was a Thursday evening during the off season. We did have a reservation, but it was nearly empty at 6pm. We were immediately seated ( we chose outside seating in the dim light). The food was absolutely outstanding. We had the scallion cheddar pinwheels, fried green tomatoes, Mac and cheese with collard greens and cheddar jalapeno grits with shrimp and lobster gumbo sauce. Dessert was the jumbleberry biscuit and the apple beniets.
If I would say anything, the service was really lacking; especially given there was only one or two other occupied table in the restaurant. We weren't checked on frequently and had to ask multiple times for drink refills.
First time and not the last! Excellente meal with amazing taste and deliciousness seasoning. Eggs platter with potatoes was magical. The toast with egg and avocado was tasty and yummy. The price range was 10-20. Excellente spot .. about 10 Min walk from the beach.. breakfast spot recommended !
We stopped in for lunch at 3:00. We were waited on by the bartender at a regular table. We split a dinner of fried chicken. With mashed potatoes, gravy, roasted corn. Very delicious, well seasoned. Beignets were the bomb. Sorry, the Mrs couldn't wait for the picture. The back patio was very cute but temps in the 60s so we ate inside.
The menu is so creative and the food/cocktails are amazing! We were in Newport Beach for 3 nights and we went twice for breakfast! Delish!
The place is very cute and the food was excellent. I ordered the Vanilla French toasts and they were the best I've tasted. Crunchy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside, with the loveliest blueberry jam.
However, the service is the highlight here! We were greeted with smiles from the moment we got in and everyone was incredibly nice and kind. I really appreciated that they didn't rush us eventhough they were busy. We were a group of 6 +2kids for brunch on a Sunday and our waiter was patient with us, checked in often and food came fast.

Decided to do this over cannery. What a great decision. Bria the server was great, very quaint place and the food was amazing. Had the jambalaya which was one of the best I’ve had. Will definitely come back, so good
Definitely come here. Charming little spot what looks like an old converted house. The food was really delicious. The staff was all really friendly and had smiles on their faces. Highly recommend the crabcake Benedict. The coffee was good too. Will definitely stop back here when in the area.
Tucked away on 29th St is this hidden gem . Southern flair runs through their menu. Fried green tomatoes Yum!!! I am loving their house made granola and preserves I was able to purchase.
Omg I had by far the tasting breakfast/brunch here in a while!! It was delicious and flavorful. The cocktail was just okay but the food made up for whatever was missing. The service was exceptional. I definitely want to go back and I wish there was a location with the same menu in San Diego, but for the level of tasty I don't mind driving to Newport Beach. You have to check this place out!!
I came here this morning for the first time and loved it! Our server, Bria, was super friendly and attentive. She suggested the crab cake hash and I 10/10 recommend. So good!
