This place has become another go to place for me for Japanese food. It was fresh and delicious. And some of the dishes that they offer were very unique and delicious. The atmosphere and decor really transports you to Japan. Our server went out of her way to get the chef to make a dish that was only on the dinner menu. I've already made plans for my next visit.

All the dishes I had were delicious (fried calamari, chilled eggplant, crispy rice with spicy tuna), but I Especially loved the seaweed salad with tofu. My server Christin was so friendly and gracious. If I lived here I'd be a regular!

The fish are high quality cuts and very fresh! They also have a variety of textures and great combinations of flavors in every dish. The presentation are well done as well. I like how they add some unique twist to the traditional Japanese dishes and the chefs really showcases their creativity with the dishes. For example, this is the first time I’ve ever had black sesame creme brûlée and it is absolutely delicious! The atmosphere does have a very Japanese feel to it with a zen garden outside. I’ve been to Japan a few times and they really did not do so bad emulating the ambiance of a Japanese shop. Our waitress is also very sweet, accommodating and the service is just excellent! Overall, I had a great experience here and would recommend this to anyone who loves great quality sushi.

This place is a gem. It has some of the freshest, most innovative sushi I've ever eaten -- and I live in SF. The sushi bar is awesome, I encourage you to sit there and order the specials, you won't regret it!

I came in for dinner with a friend on a Thursday evening. We were greeted and seated right away, the booths are separated from the aisle with curtains so it was great for visiting and catching up. The food and the service were both fantastic, tons of menu items to choose from. Love this place!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Good Japanese food. Pricey, but there are some reasonable lunch deals. Would recommend. There are seats with very good seats. The atmosphere and the interior design is good. There are curtains in front of the booths which make it seem more private. The photo is of Chirashi Sushi.

I came here with some friends and the ambience is really nice. We got one of the rooms outside and it was super cool. We had to take off our shoes and there was a sliding door. The table was close to the floor and it looked like we had to kneel on the cushions. But actually there was a hole underneath the table where we could put our legs so we were sitting normally. I got the salmon entree was was DELICIOUS. I would definitely get it again. Their fried pork belly appetizer was amazing too. Portion sizes are a lot smaller than I expected (though this is coming from a girl who almost never eats at fancy restaurants). The prices are a bit high but the food and the experience was totally worth it. Service was slow, which I docked a star off for, but I would definitely come again for a special occasion.
