Wow!! Incredible decor, lovely restaurant. Great seating arrange both indoor & outdoors. Exceptional food. Rolls are so damn good. Lot of good variety of handcrafted rolls. We ordered forbidden roll, it was incredible. Great cocktails, bar tender was exceptionally knowledgeable. Loved the place!

We walked in, and the modern Japanese interior design immediately caught my attention. The vibe is elegant, sophisticated, and slightly edgy, which makes for a great setting for a date or dinner party.
All the food tasted good, and the cocktails were standard. My favourite types of sushi are crab and tuna, so we got the Black Dragon and Forbidden rolls. The Black Dragon was excellent, and I like how they use Chinese forbidden rice rather than sushi rice in the rolls. Another thing I especially liked was that they cut the sushi rolls into thinner slices than most sushi restaurants I have visited. This allowed the full flavour profile to stand out rather than being overwhelmed by the rice. The negi toro rolls, truffle tuna sashimi, and coffee panna cotta were also yummy.
The service was great, and the nice wait staff helped recommend a drink for the evening. They also validate parking.
The only con was that when my partner went to use the restroom, they discovered there was no toilet paper, and there weren't any seat covers to use alternatively.
Overall great cocktail and sushi bar, and I look forward to my next visit!
Tried almost all of their Sushi’s by Chef Marco. All were amazing specially Red Snapper Sushi and Wagu. Also recommend their honey walnut shrimp. The interior design is good. It is located in an upscale place in Irvine. Recommend this place to Sushi lovers.
My first time here with my colleagues and we had to make reservation to enjoy lunch on the weekdays. Since it's located nearby Irvine Towers and other office building, it's very busy during lunch hours. I ordered the Black widow roll and my colleague ordered Shaken beef filet with garlic noodles. We also ordered the chili garlic edamame and cucumber salad. The Edamame is delicious but spicy but the cucumber salad is refreshing. My black widow roll made up of black rice and soft shell crab tastes very good and it's a popular item to order especially for the first visit. The beef and noodles are good as well. The deco is pretty and the food is on a pricey side. If you work around the area and need a place to have lunch with clients, colleagues, friends and this will be a good choice
The vibes were good, our waiter was friendly and fast, and the golden dragon sushi roll was delicious! It was chilly outside on the patio but the heaters worked great.
A quick dinner with my daughter for some way over due sushi!
Well you will not be disappointed ever here, the selections and other off menu options really make for an amazing dinner.
We took the chance to sit at the bar and really enjoy the bartenders up beat and blast attitude make the atmosphere just amazing. So much so we ended up ordering a second go around because it was so good and so much fun to sit and talk to everyone.
I have been here a couple times for business meetings. Sushi rolls are great, the black rice is interesting, flavors are very good. But, the bowls leave a lot to be desired. The ratio of rice to other ingredients is honestly sad when considering the price of this place. 3 of us ate lunch there, 2 bowls and 2 rolls came out to $112. Not sure I’ll be back unless a customer is adamant.
Amazing food and ambience!! A bit on the pricy side but totally worth it. This place is more of a fusion between american and japanese cuisine.
Great place for Asian fusion entree's and sushi rolls. Dessert was good too.
Great selection of food. Incredible quality and freshness. Bold flavors that can satisfy any pallette.
Service was spotty. Some employees were great. Our waitress in this instance was not. But all in all it was still a great experience and I would recommend a visit.
