Rode our bikes here for happy hour food. It was quite busy on the bar patio since the sun finally came out and it’s the first weekend of summer.
We grabbed a nice big corner spot. The boys ordered mai tai’s, I got a glass of wine and my friend got an espresso martini. The martini was SO good.
We ordered chowder fries, fried green beans, calamari, sausage & peppers and chicken skewers.
Personal, Not a fan of the chowder fries. I don’t like soggy fries. The green beans were the bomb! They had 3 sauces served with them but the ranch was the best. Calamari was also delicious as well as the sausage & peppers.
The chicken skewers were pathetic. They were the size of my pinky finger, barely any chicken. And for $12?!? They should be embarrassed to serve it. I’d take it off the menu or try to increase the size!
Ambiance is amazing here, serving staff is great. Always a fun place to hang out!
Stopped by Billy’s this week for a quick lunch and beverage. Mel was my server and was friendly and attentive. One of the managers Sam stopped by to check in as well. Will be back for the great views!
What a great find in Newport Beach right on the Water right on the Harbor lots of Views lots of cool boats going by, the food was great. The service was great. The place is great, took my mom and my sister who I haven't seen in a bit. And they loved every minute of it. Definitely a great place to check out. Midday for lunch is when we went. Food and drinks were great but definitely location location location.
I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this to be a great experience but it was better than expected. The food is a 6.5 to 7 out of 10. Not bad, not great but good and good enough. The service was a 10 out of 10. We had 15 people and the level of service was as good as it gets. Thank you ladies for your hard work and amazing attitudes. Stellar! And the atmosphere was a 9 out of 10. Let me just say, I will absolutely return.
Came here for lunch with a friend. Everyone we encountered was polite and professional, from the parking valet to the waitress. We were led immediately to a patio table overlooking the dock where customers pull up by boat. Fun people watching. Ordered the Calamari appetizer. Absolutely delicious but it comes with a warning. We found the sauce too hot to eat, so we asked for a side of ranch dressing to mix with the sauce. Even the waitress admitted the sauce is very spicy! Adding the Ranch worked. We had the California Style Burger with Swiss Cheese, Bacon, and Avocado. Presentation was 10 stars, taste was wonderful. Finished our meal with a slice of Key Lime Pie. What we got looked and tasted more like cheesecake, but it was still yummy. Fun restaurant, awesome food.
Billy’s was pretty good, a little pricey for the quality but you’re paying for the atmosphere. Overall recommend for a chill date spot, or a good hangout.
Coconut shrimp were bomb, and the tacos were solid.
Excellent food drinks and service. My only complaint, and it's a big one, handicap parking! Only 2 spots. After that they hit you with $9 valet parking. That seems very unfair with a permanent handicap tag. I had no choice but to pay.
Wonderful service with a great atmosphere. The mai tai is a must try as well as the pupu platter.
Billy’s is always a treat. We thoroughly enjoy eating here. I started with a Mai Tai which I won’t drink anywhere else. I don’t really enjoy them anywhere else but at Billy’s. The garlic bread appetizer was so good. I’m not sure how they deliver such an elevation to a simple dish.
I tried the burger for the first time and wow! Everything you want in a burger. We also order some fish tacos and fish & chips which were also equally as delicious.
The bartenders are great as are the servers.
Who loves Hawaiian vibe?
Highlights of the menu:
1. Mai Tai - they stated themselves the best Mai Tai in the world. I need you experts to verify this
2. Ahi poke
3. Beef skewers
4. Macademia halibut with white rice
Servers are wearing Hawaiian shirt and provide very quick service.
