We LOVE Wilma's Patio! It is one of our favorite go-to restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff is welcoming, helpful, cordial, laid-back, and friendly. We always eat on the patio as our pets are welcome there. The food is yummy, comfort food. Their vegetarian refried beans are the best I've eaten. It is definitely a family-friendly restaurant and the employees are pretty much all family as well! You can never go wrong with a meal at Wilma's. Just know that it is often crowded on the weekends for breakfast/lunch so there will more than likely be a bit of a wait but it is well worth it. <3

Our breakfast at Wilma's Patio was delicious and mostly affordable especially given inflation and prices going up. The restaurant is quite large with a few seating outside. We were seated quickly on a Wednesday morning. The staff is friendly and attentive. Their menu is extensive. My husband and I ordered tge oatmeal, French toast and a side of hash browns. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. The French toast was yummy along with the oatmeal. Wish the oatmeal was hot though. The hash browns were crispy and for $5 you get a full plate of it. With so many restaurant increasing their prices, here at Wilma's we were pleasantly surprised that the prices were so reasonable. Would definitely come back.
We have been coming to Wilma's Patio for about 20 years now, ever since Marriott Newport Coast Villas opened up. This is a classic and Iconic Restaurant, just a great vibe, so many cool and interesting spaces, Patio, Bar and area around, main entry area, side room, and atrium area. Lot's of natural light, from skylights, high windows and large regular windows. People are as nice as it gets and service is always really good, friendly, gracious and very accommodating. Great Mimosas and one of best Bloody Mary's anywhere, made with Rice Wine. always love the food here, I am a basic Breakfast guy, so couple of eggs, scrambled, with cheese and avocado, hash browns and rye toast, always love it. My wife love the Eggs Benedict, with Spinach, or the Lochs, both are always just excellent.
Thank you Team Wilma's for so many years of great experiences. We will always come back for breakfast when we are staying in town.

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The waitresses were full of positive energy, and the overall vibe of the place was great. We ordered a sharing dish, and when we told one order is enough for share, they promptly brought two plates and separated our delicious ham Benedict. The mimosas were perfect, and they even brought us extra juice without hesitation. Highly recommended!
It was a perfect Southern CA day for sitting outside along the sidewalk. They had a huge selection of teas (you can see the brand in the picture). There were a multitude of menu items from which to choose. All 3 of us got different things and they were are delicious. The service was very good with more than one person paying attention to the area. A quaint and delicious way to spend time on the island!
Wilma's menu reminded me of the old Marie Calenders food. It's such a cute, cheeky, and beachy spot. The parmesan sourdough burger hit the spot. The brunch looked delicious, too. There is patio seating, and it's dog friendly, too.
Arrived a little after 8:20 on a Tuesday morning and was able to eat outside (5 of us). Was recommend and definitely recommend it as well. Food came out fast and was really good.
Burger was great! The fact they blend their own beef patties is great and was delicious. Beer assortment was fantastic. Venue and service were great, would definitely go back.
Had a wonderful Mother’s Day Lunch with my mother at Wilma's Patio Restaurant on Balboa Island. Everything was excellent! Even on a crazy busy Mother’s Day Holiday, the staff at Wilma’s had everything dialed in and running smooth. I checked in early for my reservation and they had us in our booth exactly by my reservation time. I spend a lot of time on balboa island walking and shopping. Every visit I’ve ever made to Wilma’s has been a great experience. Thank you for the hospitality Sheri!
A casual restaurant in a great location, with an extensive and versatile menu, yummy food and friendly service! Their famous meatloaf sandwich (pictured) is tasty and our server told us that the sourdough burger was especially delicious! I’ve been to Wilma’s many times and they’re consistent in their quality.
