BEWARE PEOPLE WITH NUT ALLERGY. THEY DO not care to bake separately to protect allergy customers. I love Chocolate, the lady did not suggest I get any cupcakes with Chocolate because she shouldn't guarantee allergic reaction to nuts. I do not have this problem at Gigi's Cupcakes. They bake peanut contained Cupcakes separately. Gigi cupcakes do all nut cupcakes separately whether its Chocolate or not..There is really no excuse for this. I just left and went there for a gourmet cupcake. Smallcakes, you should cater to all customers with allergies and without allergies. I do not respect your company standards. Will not refer nobody to this company. Oh she referred me to a another bakery in town.. Whatever, I drove 30 miles and wanted to stop for sweets , not drive to multiple locations to get 2 cupcakes and hope I won't break out...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! My family and I traveled over 30 minutes to the area for dinner then I spotted this cake shop from the street, it was our first visit. We was not greeted and had to repeat a couple times the flavor of cupcake we wanted before the young lady even responded. I then asked to use the restroom but was told it was closed to the public clearly seeing I was in a tight due to a medical issue. I understand all the precautions going on due to COVID but I believe this is a huge inconvenience and injustice to PAYING CUSTOMERS who spend like me almost $40 for cupcakes then have to go door to door asking if they can use the restroom. Many businesses only allow restroom usage to paying customers while this one I had paid at would not, and there was no sign up nor apology offered. The cupcakes were pretty good but I won’t spend my money again at an establishment that don’t have any value for the ones that actually help to keep them in business.

I placed and paid for my daughter's cake for her 12th birthday celebration. The order was placed 1 week before the event took place in Helen, GA waterpark and tubing. I came to pick up cake on Friday as agreed upon for Saturday's event. Long story short--- cake was not made! To make matters even worse, the order was not even found. Apparently the employee who took the order placed the paperwork in the wrong location and it was missed. I was livid!!! What was I to do with last minute mishaps? Yes, I could go to publix and pick up any cake but my daughter loves small cakes and wanted her birthday flavor cake. I was emotional, I was tearing up and trying not to take it out on the person assisting me as it was not her fault. The employee helped me by calling the owner and they promised to have the cake ready by 745 AM the day of the event as we were heading out to Helen, GA by 8AM. The owner came through at last minute for their mishap, took ownership of the mistake, refunded my money and provided the cake for the event. Even though, it was a rough emotional situation, I appreciate the owner acknowledging the importance of our event and correcting the mishap. The event was wonderful and the cake was Delicious. Thank you small cakes for taking care of your customers.

Hubba hubba hubba!!! The vanilla cupcake with pink buttercream frosting is perfect in its simplicity, it's literally the icing on the cake! Grocery store bakery cakes/cupcakes will label theirs "buttercream" frosting, but is really just a sugar/grease combo. Not this one. This place is the real deal on serving true buttercream. It's so smooth and creamy, with the absolute perfect touch of sweetness. I'm in so much trouble!

We used Smallcakes for our wedding. It was beautiful; the cupcakes were very good and our guests couldn't stop raving about how much they loved the cupcakes. The price was also very good. We got 60 cupcakes and a 6 inch round for less than $300, which is about the best price for a wedding cake that I have ever seen!
