Ming Palace

This was my go to Chinese place, food & service always good. Today that changed though. My wife ordered a lunch & it was very spicy but she asked for it mild. She told the waitress & said can she get something different & was told we have to charge you! She said well give me the same dish no spices. She gets the dish back all they did was rinsed it the spices were still there. She talked to the manager & he said I can make you something else & it was better. Well my wife went to pay the bill & before he swiped the credit card he said did you leave a tip!!! Are you kidding me, I’m beyond words with the experience we had today.

I have been coming here for years. I usually get Roast Pork Lo Mein which is very good and for me yields 2-3 meals. Funny I ordered Chicken Chow Mein recently and they were not sure what it was. It was just ok. Tonight I went in for my take out order and dining room pretty full. First time I’ve seen that since before pandemic.

The food is OK. I work in the Area so ordered take out both times. The "best" part about both meals was the rice it's simple and not very flavorful so make sure you use your favorite soy sauce. Kind of goes down hill from there for me. Wonton soup was not good. The wontons very soggy and the broth was greasy with no flavor. General Tsou's Chicken overly breaded and nothing Hot or Spicy about it. Next up boneless spareribs dryer then I would like but flavor was ok. The person that took my order was was pleasant. Food was fast and I was helped a soon as I arrived he was all very nice. The price was reasonable.
