Bobcat Cafe

Great little cafe in small town Texas. Newcastle is a unique small town with a lot of history. This cafe exemplifies the small town touch by offering large meals for small prices. You'll feel right at home here with customers helping each other. The wait staff is awesome! Breakfast starts at 5 am with pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon and ham. Great omelettes! Lunch goes on thru to 2pm and the homemade hamburgers are to die for. Expect a good crowd at lunch.

I visited 3 times recently. They have a hearty breakfast for very reasonable price. Eggs, ham, biscuits, gravy all very good. They open at 5 am and close at 2 pm. Lunch is hamburgers and sandwiches with a couple of specials like sausage and chicken fried steak. The cook/waitress does well keeping coffee and food coming to her customers. the lunch crowd fills the place. I have twice been offered a refill of coffee by a customer. When he went for a refill he brought the pot and offered me one like I was in his home. There are two restaurants in Newcastle and this one is by far my favorite.
