I had the classic eggs Benedict and they were decent but weren’t at the same level as the ones I had at the same restaurant in Torrance california. Overall the restaurant is very nice and well maintained. The bathrooms are clean and the service was amazing my only critique would be we weren’t given any water with our drink. Most restaurant despite ordering anything but water always provide water as well.

This was my first visit to Black Bear Diner and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. There were three of us in the party and everyone commented on how they enjoyed their lunch. Our server was cordial and knowledgeable she definitely contributed to the great experience. Much appreciated!

Loved this diner. Everyone is so friendly and they are WICKED FAST. Pancakes are top notch as others have said, try adding chocolate chips! Loved the breakfast sliders and hash as well. Biscuit was a little dense/crunchy. They also have beer and wine, we opted for mimosas

I've been eating here for the past 2 years and I've never left dissatisfied. I figured it was about time to write a review :) I can not eat gluten and have greatly appreciated the gluten free options available at Black Bear Diner. I usually get a burger or sandwich but I decided to go from a salad this time. I was so glad I did, their Tuna Salad is delicious! It was so fresh and very tasty. I think I found my new favorite. Oh, and their fries and ranch dressing are also sooooo good!
Note: it gets very crowded and can be noisy. I have found the best time to go is between 11am-2pm if you want to avoid the crowd 🙂

I've been to this location twice and had a great experience both times. The service has been quick with friendly, helpful servers. Everything that was ordered by the table was delicious. Far better than any of the other common breakfast chains! The country breakfast potatoes are really good. The portions are large and it feels like a great value. Definitely two meals out of the omelets with potatoes and toast.
I'd highly recommend giving them a shot if you haven't yet. They'll be a regular breakfast spot for us.

We went here for Father's day. It was super busy and we had a party of 5 plus our 4 year old. We were told 45 to an hour. The hosts were extremely polite and friendly and were going above an beyond for people. The quote was spot on and the host walking us back was telling us about all the specials. Our server was amazing as well! We did wait quite a while for food understandably but she always kept us updated. She was super friendly with our 4 year old and our drinks never got empty.. We sat in the back by the door and also had someone in a wheel chair. I used to be a restaurant manager for several years and was blown away. Thank you for making our Father's day. 😊
