When I arrived I was a bit apprehensive, but the smell of BBG smoke made me go inside. OMG! My wife and I shared a 2 meat combo with brisket and pulled pork. Both were fantastic and generous portions! No need to sauce them, moist and delicious. The green tomato pickles are so good I wanted to take home a gallon jug! And afterward we had an ice-cream sandwich! It too is a must have. When we go back, which we definitely will, we may have to try the everything combo! Excellent!
I just had lunch at Storrs Smokehouse, I am really not sure what happened. As I started to eat the perfectly prepared lunch the clouds parted and the sun shined its rays down on me. I felt a peaceful warmth rush over me as I knew I was about to eat some of the best BBQ I have ever had. the meal did not disappoint. I recommend everyone who enjoys BBQ to try out Storrs Smokehouse. I felt very comfortable with the amazing staff and the food, Well the food speaks for itself. Totally amazing.
Let's face it, there are different types of barbecue, so it's important to know that this is more Carolina style, and as such, you're not going to find the meat slathered in sweet sticky sauce. I give it five stars for what I had. I came in on a very busy weekend afternoon, and not surprisingly, like any good BBQ place, many items were sold out by the time I got there. Thankfully two of my favorites were available and I would say it was some of the best I've had in this area. I tried it all before adding a drop of sauce, just to appreciate it for what it is, and it was so good, I nearly ate it all before I remembered that I wanted to try the sauce.
Came here for a birthday dinner but just got some plates to go. It was really good. I'm a big fan of barbecue but I like to do it at home so you never really can tell how it's going to turn out at a restaurant. The brisket was really really good really flavorful, the pork was fantastic super super good. The ribs aren't my favorite, I wouldn't order those again. Besides and the bread was really good and also the sauce was really tasty.
Great brisket and bbq sauce. We had sandwiches pork and brisket. Chefs are fast and accommodating. Prices are reasonable. Good place to order take out brisket or ribs for a party at home.
Food was great! Hidden gem. They run out of things so go early! Fun team there took great care of us. Will certainly go back again
Wow. Just, Wow! My wife and I shared the 'Gran Daddy' and it was all great. Well seasoned ribs and pulled pork, brisket that didn't disintegrate when you grabbed a fork-full, flavor-full sausage, and probably the best chicken wings I have ever tasted. Be sure to try the chicken wings, they may be a bit spicy for some.
