great pastries! we'll be back for more! reminds me of my visits to taipei & the pastries i've tried there! more power to you!
Father's day dinner 6/22 ordered all our favorites.
Shredded pork, beef in flaming oil, Hunan tofu, and cabbage and smoked pork this comes in a wok need to let it cook more and stir occasionally getting the oil and season from the bottom. Well worth the extra effort in tenderness and taste getting into the cabbage.
Guys gotta give this place a try. Remember to ask for less maha the numbing spice. I can't stand this spice and most likely you won't like it either.
Came for my bday lunch. Splurged on a BBQ whole fish. Much better to eat it freshly cooked and not having to take home, tastes much better. Glad covid seems to be finally behind us with only better times to come.
This is so far one of the best Szechuan style restaurants around. Saw the reviews and been trying to come for the last 6months. Worth every dollar the food is that good but reasonably priced. Have to give it a try you won't be sorry.
Edit: Make sure to mention less of the numbing spice Mah or else if you're not use to it you won't like the food.
Update 5/25 came here after reopening during the shelter in place. New cook but for still very good. Not sure about authenticity but doors tastes good to me. Shredded pork dish use to have a sour taste is not sweet and spicy to me better. Beef stew is another improvement in my mind. Order to go they're fast.
One of the old cooks is back so the food is back to the same if you're a previous custo.er. this is now my go to restaurant for spicy Chinese food highly recommended.
Update food is almost as good as before but the best deal around.
One of the most delicious Chinese spots that I happened to stop by at when shopping at the nearby grocery store. An unassuming storefront with a pretty extensive menu. Ordered some spring onion pancakes, stir-fried pork belly, eggplant and tofu. Every single dish was perfect. The stir-fried pork belly had the perfect amount of spice and decent portion size which mixed with the spring onion pancakes to tone down the heat made for an extremely enjoyable meal. The tofu eggplant was also expertly blanched and fried while the tofu was crispy on the outside while creamy and delicious on the inside. Ordered in-person and was able to pick up within 20 minutes while doing some shopping nearby.
This is the best grilled fish place i have ever eaten around the bay area! The price is reasonable for $29.99 and you can get a huge fish with very tasty flavor that is enough food two people. Highly recommended if you like 烤鱼!
Whole roasted sheep, a little over $200 bucks. Went on a busy Saturday night, we had 10p in the group and except the service was a bit slow, food was otherwise pretty good. Sheep was baked/roasted pretty well. Just not that 18% tip was pre-added to final bill.
Amazing amazing. As a Sichuan native, I can’t believe I can find such tasty and authentic Sichuan food in Bay Area.
