The food is wonderful. It is a bit on the sweeter side but that is typical of Gujarati cuisine I believe. I love the people who work here as well. They are super sweet. Everything is vegetarian and things can be made vegan.

Been here twice.Vegetarian Gujarati food.Food is definitely good. Many dishes have sweetish tinge. Neat ambience. Pay first and eat concept. Limited quantities. Only issue is pricing and hospitality. All dishes are fairly overpriced compared to other Bay Area restaurants. They even charge $1.5 for extra sambar. Price would be the only reason I would think twice to go here.

It was my first time ordering food from here. We ordered Gujarati and Punjabi thali. We loved most of the dishes in the thali specially we liked the Gujarati dishes more than punjabi. Two things I would like to suggest is make the puri and roti size a lil big, they were literally too small. Each puri was a bite size which we did not realize and we ended up making rotis at home. And give more quantity I felt it’s pricey for the quantity of food you give.

Price too much and quantity very less 😏😏i order one smosa chat first time and they charge 6$ something and spose to b big smosa and gud enough but when i open box it was like joke with me for smosa chat quantity is like for just u feel u hav smosa chat nothing in there .its 2 small smosa and little stuff ..this samosa u can get anystore 1$for 3 they put maximim 2$ stuff in there and charge 6.5$ ...so guys plz compare price and quality with other store jay bharat is no good 😠😠😠😠

Visited here couple of time for good line-up of vegetarian delicacies from Western part of India even though this place is a little bit far from where I live. Used to be an admirer of their Poori and Thali.

As many have mentioned, this place focuses on Gujarati food (a western state in India). We drove quite a distance to come here because of all the good things we had heard and were not disappointed. We tried their Methi Theplas, Khaman, Dosas, and Samosas and everything was very tasty. Most of all, we were impressed with their packaged snacks (African Chevdo to be specific), which we brought home and enjoyed for several days after the visit.
