Jimmy John's

Just Friday I spoke with owner about their business and wished them luck. Today, Saturday of the July 4th weekend I went out of my way on my travel to Delaware park to buy 5 subs for the racing department. I arrived at opening time of 10:00 am only to be told it would be 15-20 minutes because she was making bread!!! If opening is 10 am, then prep work should be completed well in advance of the store hours. When, I get food, it is great. When, the owner is there, the service is great. When I called to speak with her, an employee was not helpful or considerate on the phone. It may be time to set firm employee rules or make changes to be prepared for the customers at operational times set to open. Went to Wawa to spend my money.

Awful doesn't really describe the food here. This is an overpriced Subway and even that is giving Jimmy John's a compliment. The portion size is ridiculously small for the outrageous price you pay for it. 7.50 for mainly stale bread. The veggies were OK but the rest was beyond underwhelming. Dry, tasteless and over priced are the 3 words I give Jimmy John's

If you are on a low carb diet and you miss sandwiches, go to Jimmy John's and order an Unwich made with whatever sandwich is on the board. It sounds completely unoriginal to wrap a sandwich in lettuce instead of bread, but every other sandwich shop just tosses all the ingredients in a tub. These guys band you a freaking hoagie wrapped in lettuce! Love it!

I ordered 2 party boxes online on a Friday night, and scheduled them to be ready Saturday at 11:30A. I arrived at 11:20 and they told me the sandwiches weren't done yet. Since I was early, I left to run some errands and came back at 11:35. Sandwiches were still not done. I waited until 11:50 and asked how much longer it would be and I was told they were just starting the 2nd box. I didnt get my order until 12:10, 40 minutes late, with more than enough notice for the order. As I waited, approximately 7 people came in to order sandwiches, and there were about 5 workers, so volume was not the problem. There was no apology or explanation from any staff. Now late to my event, I brought the sandwiches to people who had expected them 40 minutes ago. The sandwiches were dripping with mayonnaise, the "Unwiches" had the paper wrapped in with the lettuce, so you had to take the lettuce apart to take the paper out.. They were overall very unsatisfactory. I give 2 stars, rather than 1, because this is my first time ordering from this Jimmy Johns.

Tried to get the other tortilla for my wrap. Guy who took my order was rude*. I offered to pay extra. Still "no". I realize this isn't Burger King but I should be able to get it my way. Worse part was the rude* order taker was the owner. Guess he is rich and doesn't need the business. Must have some extra PPE funds...

Food was great but an employee name Marina was being very rude with customers, she got no idea how to deal with customers. After ordering a giant sub I asked an employee to remove avocado and lettuce from half of it and he agreed, but then she (Marina) approached me, refused and rudely told me "next time you need to order it separately" even though I told her that your manager does that for me every time, she won't listen to me at all.
