Excellent and an amazing place! This was our first visit and it was such a lovely and serene experience. The music was so calming and the ambiance was very relaxing. Stanley, our server, was patient as we chose our selections and his personality was so cool! We ordered a variety of delicious foods and were pleased with each one. 😋 We will return again to try more tasty foods! Thank you so much!

The service is absolutely above average. Very attentive without being pushy. Food was great 👍🏾 loved the Bento 🍱 it was my first time and I was not disappointed. Great decorating. I LOVE ❤️ you can take your bubble tea with you. A bit chilly 🥶 need to turn the heat up maybe 5 degrees but other than that. I will be returning!! They do take out as well.

Chiwa Bistro, located in Christiana Mall Newark Delaware. Walking into the restaurant, the Japanese-style large lanterns are imprinted in the eyes. The decoration of the whole store is full of Japanese atmosphere, and the dining environment makes people feel very comfortable. It mainly sells Japanese noodle, sushi and snacks. The Japanese noodles are well done, the soup base is delicious, the noodles are springy and the side dishes are fresh. A very nice shop, worth trying.

OH MY GOSH i can’t explain how good the food & service was!! Every time i come here rather it’s dine in or takeout everyone is so kind, the energy is great, and the food is. AMAZING. Avery authentic and great flavor. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and they never disappoint! 100/10 definitely great restaurant

This place is a hidden gem...but not really hiding. Its right next to forever 21 at the Christiana Mall. The place was crowded from it being a lunch rush, but my wait time including getting our first drink was 15 minutes top. The sushi I ordered was Awesome and satisfied my palate completely. I would highly recommend this place especially to my avid sushi eaters.

Traditional lanterns on the ceiling and pamphlets on the wall make the place feel authentic.
Sushi is prepared in a separate space near the tables which makes it easy to watch the preparation of your food.
The staff are courteous and super helpful in food suggestions based on your diet restrictions.
I have tried a variety of vegetarian options. The starters are tasty but oily. Main course items such as ramen, fried rice, vegetarian sushi rolls were delicious.
On request, staff were able to make a vegetarian versions of certain dishes as well.

The most authentic Japanese food you can find in Newark, Delaware!
The spicy tuna onigiri, black sesame bubble tea, shrimp tempura, miso soup - all were really delicious in extremely reasonable price!
The store is beautifully decorated, good music, friendly stuffs. Had a lovely time there!

Omg, we just stopped in since the mall food court had closed. We enjoyed everything so much, from the food to the decor. I loved how it reminded me of my time in Japan. Service was top notch. Can't wait to go back.
