One of the best places to eat healthy bowl! They have wide varieties of bowls and ingredients to choose from. Ordered Mayweather bowl and asked for stir fried tofu. Portion is also generous and a really good service. I wish they could expand this to the New York city or west coast and grow from here!

Looks good right? Lol, nope. Ordered two bowls thru GrubHub and both were incorrect. I did not order anything complicated. Literally just a Mayweather bowl, no changes, x2 BBQ Tofu. This is a Pesto Ceaser with what looks like regular amount of tofu. Idk I’m not picky, but I did not order anything complicated. So after a long day of work and going hard at the gym it is very disappointing to see they couldn’t get a simple order right.

I love going down the line and choosing everything and anything I want in my mix. They clearly state the items that contain dairy and gluten ingredients. The food is scrumptious with plenty of choices(the grilled mushrooms are perfect) and the staff have always been kind.

The food here is good if you're looking not to feel like you've eaten fast-food garbage, however the prices are too high for the inconsistent quality of preparation. About one in three times the amount of sauce on standard bowls will be far too much, closer to a soup than a salad. This type of experience leaves you wondering why you decided to spend $13+ on a salad.

Roots is the best restaurant of its type! It is a chipotle-style “go down the line and pick what you want” service but SO much better than chipotle or any other eateries alike! Their food is delicious, healthy, and all-natural. Amazing customer service and everyone is so nice. Definitely worth a stop is driving or walking through Newark, DE!

i love eating here, the ingredients are always fresh and natural and the staff has always been kind and unbothered when i get modifications or something extra. this is a great stop for vegetarians and vegans and the portion sizes are lasting. <3

I mobile ordered for a certain pick up time but unfortunately I got into a car crash on my way to pick up my delicious bowl. I was so sad because my chicken would be cold and my pita chips would be soggy, but Meghan was there to help. I came in after I got everything situated with the cops, and it was about an hour or two later. I asked Meghan if she could replace my chicken, not only did she do that but handpicked every soggy pita chip for a new crispy one. I love Roots, but after this nice gesture, I love it even more! thank you Meghan for making my day brighter after someone side swiped my car. SHOUTOUT MEGHAN!!!
