I arrived at the metro diner on June 25 at 3 PM I was greeted by the lovely hostess and sat down at a booth. I was created by Mae our friendly waitress. She was kind ,polite and professional. I ordered the three cheese grilled cheese sandwich which I enjoyed very much. I will definitely come back. It was nice to have a waitress who was personable and nice to talk to. Thank you Mae

Pictured is my order of shrimp and grits. I also ordered chicken and fries, eggs and bacon for my son that's not pictured. The waitress was friendly however I asked for sweet green tea and she brought me unsweetened. When she took my order I waited 40 minutes for it to come but it was worth the wait. The first time trying an untraditional rendition of shrimp and grits and it was phenomenal! The sauce combined with bacon and sausage, grit cake which is deep fried grits is super innovative and touches the palette in all the right ways. I'll def be returning for this dish. 3 stars since my drink was invited and the chicken for the tenders my daughter ordered was very tough.

Disappointed. Went in got sitting about 5 minutes after arriving. Sat in seat for about 15minutes before anyone came over to acknowledge I was there. Waitress comes and ask if anyone helped me yet and to find out who's the waiter/waitress. After she finds out, she tells me who my waitress will be and ask what drink I would like and serves me my drink. She brings my cranberry juice and straw. I sit there another 15 before my waitress finally comes over and takes my order. I order my food and sit around watching the environment. The to go orders were going out faster than the in Restaurant orders. Some waiters were hustling and getting customers orders out but my waitress seem confused and overwhelmed walking back and forth. Some customers that came in after me had received their meals and I was still seating there waiting for my order. I kept looking at my watch and realized I was there 30 minutes and still no food. So I put my coat on and walked out the door and came home and made my own breakfast. I heard good things about Metro Diner and wanted to try it for myself. I didn't get a chance to try anything.

First time visitor and can’t wait to come back! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Food was fresh, quick and tasty! While the food was great, The star of the show was Brianna! She was great, from the time we walked in until we left. Brianna made sure that we were taken care of and needed nothing. She was able to accomplish this by not being overbearing! Hoping on the next visit, she will be our waitress! Keep up the great work, great food and great service!

Stopped by Metro Diner for breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was actually the best meal of the weekend! Our waiter, Devin G., was super friendly and very pleasant! I was going to speak to his manager just to tell the manager what a fabulous job Devin was doing but decided to do this review instead. The food was nothing fancy as it was just a typical breakfast dish but it was absolutely delicious! Delicious food and an exceptional server made our last day of a weekend getaway great! So if you’re in the area, stop by Metro, and ask for Devin G!

Stopped here this morning and had a great experience. Devin was very friendly and was an excellent waiter. When I asked between two different entrees he went above and beyond to offer his opinion by asking the cook staff what the sausage gravy was like today. Food came out quickly, was prepared exactly as requested and was delicious. Can't ask for anything more.
