Wow I just ate a wonderful lunch from Uptown Grill.
I ordered the Uptown Grilled sandwich which was amazing, FRESH and tasty. I love when the bread is fresh. I also had a taste of the Italian Cheese Steak sandwich was delicious. For dessert I ordered the cheesecake....wow it was creamy and delicious.
Delivery was quick and food was amazing. Thank you Uptown Grill. 👍😊🖒 I'm looking forward to trying more food.

Just ordered from the first time from this restaurant. Definitely one of the better places in Newark to order from. The disco fries were really good! Also had a burger and my co worker had a chicken sandwich. We would definitely order from here again!

Great upgrade to the place, food is good and the lady working the kitchen pays attention to detail and very efficient. I gave it 2 stars because the service of the employee behind the register is awful. He lacks the people skills needed to communicate efficiently with the customer and it's very apparent he is either always in a grouchy mood or dislikes the job. The few times I've been there my order never comes out the way I asked for... I've felt rushed by him and while I am placing the order he's usually distracted with what is going on outside resulting in my order coming out wrong.... (not the cook's fault as I can see from the receipt it was the way it was entered).

Uptown Grill is just overpriced, bland tasting food. They serve one of the worst fries I ever had. (Soggy, lack salt and they only give you a handful.)
The wait time is ridiculous. It took 30mins to make a simple bacon, egg & cheese. (There weren't even other customers in the store for the cook to take so long)
You're better off getting food from a food truck. It's quicker, cheaper, and taste better.

The first two bites of the grilled chicken sandwich were pretty good but the chicken is very salty, rubbery and greasy. Usually when I get a grilled chicken sandwich, I would expect it to be a healthier alternative to a fried chicken sandwich or a burger, for example, but that didn't feel like the case here.
Some positives are the location and the wide variety of foods, soups, salads, snacks, desserts, etc. They also have a lot of smoothies to choose from.

I ordered an omelette with wheat toast and the first bite I took out of the toast tasted funny then I realized it was mold that I tasted as I looked at the other slices of toast they all had specks of mold on the edges. Worst experience ever. If I pay for my food I expect it not to be moldy or weeks old. Don't go to this place. Im probably going to get sick now.

Would give 0 stars, I never received my food and I live 10 mins away. Nothing to really say when I called back to cancel my order. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Food was good, however, the service was so slow it was unbelievable. It took 45 minutes to get our food when we were 2 of four people present. Would not return...
