Had to come.in not once but twice. The first time it was in and out. The place was packed up and very hot inside. Came back a day later in the morning and it was something else. The place has a huge Portuguese flag outside, the name is Portuguese but the staff is Spanish. I started speaking fluent Portuguese and again had to switch to Spanish bc the staff doesn't understand Portuguese. FINE! That morning the place was clean, the staff was pleasant but the music...LOWER THE MUSIC! AT 8AM on a Sunday they are playing Bachata , salsa at high volume, blasting! Sorry, but we are barely awake, or hung over (not ort case). We just wanted to have a peaceful breakfast, put some fado or more mellow songs even salsa but not blasting! Please!!!!

This bakery has a no parking sign and one of their “customers” was parked their with their permission he was under the influence and wanted to hit me when asked to move so I can get out. The so called owner of this bakery came out to his defense and said he was allowed to and we should just wait till the other people in front moved their cars to be able to get out. He threaten to hit me saying me being a female wouldn’t stop him from doing to and the owner was there baking him up. NEVER GIVING THIS PLACE SERVICE AGAIN.

I have been there two times for a quick bite. The snacks and coffee are pretty good, the natural juice are from the fruit, Not like some places that say natural and is from a box. The place was packed the last time I went in It was in around 2:30p. The parking is off street and you need to feed the meter if you want free parking you need to walk a few blocks.

Stop by this place yesterday at 5 P.M after buying two dozen of Pastel de Nata to go and 4 with Nutella.... after coming home to eat one of the Pastel de Nata with Nutella it was made with Blueberry and paid extra for Nutella. I tried to call now and they hung up the phone on me.... because they don't speak English. It will be my first and last at this place.

This is a friendly authentic Portuguese bakery that also serves wholesome food including simple fish dishes. Yes most of the people that work there do not speak English, Spanish or Portuguese, but they are totally friendly and helpful. The great thing about this place is it is where neighborhood Portuguese people go to converse, drink coffee, eat a light supper after work. The place is totally authentic and it is one local place where you can get some wholesome food for a very reasonable price. There are plenty of tables so you can almost always find place to sit.
I enjoy the atmosphere and food here regularly enough and recommend it.
