Went to a friends sweet 16 birthday party here and the setup was really nice. Thank goodness it was on a Sunday because parking would have been tough. We were on the second floor. Tables were set up according to the number in the party which we had about 20. One thing that was annoying was another party that was there was very loud. I mean laughing and talking as if they were they only ones there. It would have been nice if they asked them to calm down a bit but nope we had to deal with it until they left. The food was really good. No one at our table had problems or complaints. We ordered a pitcher of red and white sangria. Neither tasted flavorful like a sangria should be to me. Maybe they put to much ice 🤷🏾‍♀️. Overall a great place to eat and I do plan to return.

The food was delicious with the exception of the rolls... How do you bring out cold rolls with cold butter and say you don't heat/ warm the rolls? Never have I ever heard of that... The sangria was watered down... I'm not a drinker and it didn't even give me a buzz... lol

This is related to a small family gathering on a Sunday. The elevator made it easy to transport items to upper level. Staff greeted us at the door to assist with cake and signage. The staff was pleasant from beginning to the end. There was another gathering in the same room after ours and my biggest concern was turn around time if I were the later party I would not want to walk into a mess. The staff was diligent in the clean up and linen changes without rushing us to clear the room. There was a need for another table and the staff accommodated the extra senior guests quickly and without disrupting the flow of the event. The only uncomfortable thing in the upper room ( back) is the fact this is where the bathrooms are located so everyone walks through that room. There were no problems but that needs to be considered if you are considering a private event in this particular room.

If you visit Newark, do yourself a favor & get a wonderful meal from Chateau of Spains. The food is always perfect. You get a nice portion of whatever you get. I had the garlic chicken cutlet with yellow rice & Spanish fries. It comes with shrimp as well. I added a nice glass of red sangria. Don't let my picture fool you. I was on the Amtrak train. My meal was perfect!!!

Celebrated my daughters college graduation from William Patterson University here and the entire celebration was amazing. We enjoyed the food and service Immensely! Kevin was a joy and we appreciate his charisma and service! He was outstanding! Thank you so much for making the experience so enjoyable!

Ahhhh-mazing..quality food and exceptional service. The the stuff shrimp and calamari was wonderful. Everything was great. Will return!
