Excellent location! This is one of the few Pontillos left that really actually does have the original flavor which, if you remember what that is like, its really darn good. The service at this location is also impeccable. I have gotten slices and whole pies and they all taste the same and they are all fantastic. Try it if you haven't. You will not be disappointed. Updated 7/18/22 - Still amazing pizza!

We had 2 calzones delivered. They arrived early, super hot, loaded with just what we wanted and they were fantastic ! We Love Our Pontillo's in Newark !

I haven’t had Pontillo’s pizza in awhile, but it has always been considered the favorite pizza in my family. The pizza and wings were just as I remembered and ready for pickup exactly on time. Staff was friendly and polite. It was nice to see that an order of wings is still 12 good size pieces as most places now only serve 10. Will definitely order again. Thank you Mike for all the years of serving delicious food to the people of your home town!

My wife and I love the bread bowl salads. A fresh made bowl full of everything you like. The pizza is pretty good too. I had a sub a couple weeks ago. It was very big with a lot of meat. I ordered the wrong condiments so I don't think I can give an honest review. I will definitely order another one soon and update my review.

Best Pizza in Town! Always fresh high quality ingredients and it shows, can get crust thin just like NYC style. Almost always baked to perfection. This place is truly on another level!

The employees are always in a good mood and the pizza is great. I wouldn't suggest getting a sheet pizza though because it just doesn't have the same taste as if you were to get the regular range of sizes. I also think they should be more on top of local deals and coupons (i.e. 20% off on Mondays, ect.)

Kudos to this place and the owner. After a long day at work, going to 3 different places that were either closed permanently, or bad environment (horrible karaoke) we landed here, being those jerks who ordered 20 minutes before close...and they made it happen. Delicious food. And kind staff even after their long days! Thank you!

Cashier was very polite. Order ready in 5 minutes. Ordered a 8" sub salami and cheese. Bread, meat and cheese FRESH! VERY GOOD! Definitely will come again.
