I remember eating in PJ's back in 1975. I always came by once or twice a month after work. I lived close by in those days and always enjoyed myself and their yummy food. Sometimes famous people stopped by to eat while I was there. It was very nice to see everyone respected each other's privacy while we ate the delicious food being served. When I come back to NYC again I'll certainly stop by to enjoy their delicious meals. Thank you PJ's for adding joy to my fond memories of NYC.

I ordered on Seamless requesting utensils and French dressing and mustard with the deli order and none of the items were included. I ordered borscht with potatoes a number of times in the past and the potatoes were missing. The food is good. The orders come quick. But they almost always leave something out. When I called they blamed it on the Virus but this problem is chronic with this restaurant. They always blame it on "the guys in the kitchen," but I blame the boss.

The pastrami sandwich was amazing. Huge portions for the sandwiches. Pierogies with grilled onions were great as well. Friendly service and the place was packed. Will definitely be back.

This is without doubt the worst Deli in Manhattan. Whenever I wanted to give it another chance I was always disappointed. I hadn’t tried in for 10 years and thought “ok, who knows”, but nothing had changed. The food is mediocre and their estimated delivery times are completely unreliable. We threw out the gefilte fish. As my wife said “the cat wouldn’t eat it”. Everything tasted old and on the verge of spoiling. It was a complete waste.

We just picked oup a $95 order. We asked for seedless rye. We didn't get seedless rye. Should we give Bernstein credit for getting 80% of the order correct?
