Great food places no matter what size and area they located wow and surprise you in all lovely ways and Farida is definitely cuts in that category.

Great food. Excellent vibes. Dope atmosphere. The owner is very passionate about the industry and the culture. Made me happy to see such care from the service to the food. And the food is GLORIOUS. Swordfish, salmon, steak and lamb kebabs the way to go. They pile on veggies with the platters.
This place has one of the best kebabs/shashlyks in NYC. Honestly, not exaggerating here. I've tried a good number of Turkish, Punjabi, Persian and Central Asian places in the city and so far this place had the best kebabs/shashlyks. The mixed grill platter is a good choice. Also try the lamb chops-
